Hi, i found strange thing.
Laser-tier SMG not gain speed buff like other SMG.

i don't know if this was intentional or not but this overhaul lacks the configuration for weapon techs, weapons don't benefit from CV/MG/BM damage breakthroughs and i believe perks that rely on weapon tech also don't work properly,

for those who do want proper weapon tech you need to go config/WeaponTiers/XcomTemplateEditor.ini and add a few lines bellow GLOBAL SETTINGS . it should look like this:

; GLOBAL SETTINGS

; Set "weapon tech" field of all weapons affected by this mod.
; It determines which weapons are affected by which breakthroughs.
; Many soldier perks scale with WeaponTech as well, expecting
; them to go conventional -> magnetic -> beam in terms of power.

I’ve had a monster of a time upgrading the Proxian weapons since installing this mod. Is this due to the melee schematic requirements?

Definitely not my setup. I just run A BARE minimum covert infiltration mod list and only your mod and cleaned configs. Do you have individual build check? Sorry for asking i am guessing yes. Also these are the coil and laser SMG's do your mod adds them? Or do you use their templates?

wait so according to the descriptions, with this mod installed i wouldn't need to download battle and strike rifles and the so harbinger rifle since it's already in the mod?

Brilliant mod. Gives you control over the order and power of the weapon tiers (I set mine back to Iridar's order), weapon stats, and more. Balanced and priced for CI. With some editing, I was even able to combine with with the Not-So-Mini Guns mod to add a weight penalty and enhanced stats to my cannons.

@Tiaz When I start a new campaign I get warnings from the Template Master & Ghost Templates expecting the laser and coil mod associated with Iridar's original mod.

I'm just too lazy to understand configs. Therefore, the edits from Iridar or Stukov did not suit me. But yes, respect to Iridar. Moreover, he is a Russian-speaking modder and his modifications are impressive.

Thx for your words, but I think Iridar needs those words, :) I used His code for my tier five weapons. (Balance also from His mod I only make new prices for weapons and schematics) Primary pistols don't use ammo is a bug from Primary Secondaries Mod, but if I remember True Primary Secondaries Beta works well.

Listen, you won my heart with this mod. Everything I was looking for is here. There are even pistols, knives, swords and faction weapons. Excellent balance and price.
A small note - pistols (maybe other primary weapons) does not waste ammo ( laser and coil)

If you subscribed to that mod in the middle of the campaign, you will not see conventional battle/strike rifles, only laser and above.

For some reason, I can't find the conventional battle rifles and strike rifles in my game, even when I add them with console commands.

It won't work with WIO, but you can add the SMG to the configs.

@LeyShade I seriously don't understand your comments here. Tiaz didn't take a mod and "claim it as their own". They got Iridar's permission to upload their edits and config changes. And credit Iridar twice in the description. The description is clear as a bell to anyone who reads it. If you don't want it don't use it but seriously stop trolling these comments with your "clarifications".

When you port the settings from it to another mod, add others edits, and then claim it as your own work, people will naturally draw comparisons, regardless of what you type in the description box, especially so if your description was unclear.

All weapons form 5TWO are affected. If you change to this mod all weapons will cost more. Re-arrange tier will work fine with TLM

Do this mod affects all the list of affected weapons from the original mod? ie. SMG, Hunter Rifle

If I'm change from original mod to this mod, will there be any change regarding gameplay other than the bonus on tier and re-arrange tier? ie. different in cost, weapon damage

Also, will there be a problem with Teslarage loot mod? As TLM has config for Iridar's five tier but this mod has re-arrange tier.

Also this mod adds bonuses for the different tiers, which I believe are not present in the standalone 5two (bonus aim for laser etc)

It's not an easy configuration change in 5TWO to switch tiers, this is simply Tiaz's version of Rusty's edits for 5TWO. I have a local mod that does the exact same changes to tiers but this is a great option for people who don't want to have to manually change the 5TWO configs or incorporate them into a local mod.

Doesn't that already exist as an option that can be enabled within 5TWO though?

Seem's a lot of work to add what is essentially a couple of minor bonuss to some basic weapons. Great work, just don't understand it's methods or reasons.

Good lord can't anybody read? Seriously. This not a LWOTC mod, as can be clearly seen by the fact that it has 4 mods as requirements that are not compatible with LWOTC. Oh, and it doesn't mention LWOTC in the description once. Stop and read the description before you comment.
