Think it'd be possible to make the script disallow the AI from trading away territory that isn't an exclave? Just to give you an example, Per Amun essentially always trades away Tjaru to Pi-Ramesses at the start of a campaign, even though both its staring territories connect to eachother, which I feel like shouldn't be happening

Cool! Trying it out on my next campaign.

I'm on a ~140ish campaign right now headed to a three way superpower battle. We have resolved our bordergore ourselves...

well, I'm Egypt and I got Lycia to be my ally with region trades, then chose a Mesopotamian kindgom, Ekurma to ally with and started feeding them resources...and now we're getting to the end of possible common enemies...

No bonus's, those alliances could result in quite a static campaign where nobody attacks anyone! (plus, it would bea bit of work to apply diplomatic malus via script!

Do the AI to AI region gifts give the same positive Diplomatic bonus as normal?

Are the AI factions becoming friends when they do this, is the question. Could make for interesting regional alliances.

This won't stop Greeks doing that.. but it would make them trade those regions away, assuming they got minor regions and they aren't at war with whoever owns the capital!

I hope, with this, I will stop seeing Agamemnon suddenly has a city in Nubia at turn 30

Will this keep the Greeks from taking land in Egypt?

@Autarch - hmm, I added it because in my other mods, there was some nuance for WH factions who relied on vassals as part of their core mechanic. I guess it's not necessary here. I'll remove that requirement in an upate.

YES

@Gaius Iulis Caesar it does work with Radious

@IfThenOrElse can you explain your reasoning behind one of the conditions for recipient/gifting factions not being vassal/vassal master for it to trigger? I mean this should have a higher chance of triggering if they are vassal/vassal master since it will make the map a lot cleaner due to some king factions have up to 2 or 3 vassals per campaign.

Should do! This mod is pretty self contained!
Gaius Iulius Caesar 26 Oct, 2024 @ 9:14am
does it work with radious?

Sorely needed, great job!

Is there a specific campaign aggression setting you recommend? :steamhappy:

Fair :)

this should take effect on current saves.
in terms of payment - I didn't really bother because the AI kind of already gets generous economic boons already. I can look at changing this in the future if enough folks ask for it.

Does this require a new game start or ?
Kendji 24 Oct, 2024 @ 7:32pm
Have you considered a payment for the gifter from the reciever? Say a treaty for the gift, like NAP or military access.

thank you
