@Jak You need to be in Forge to do the team swaps. In custom games, when you change teams the game just ends. I wish it didn’t work like that but unfortunately it does.

Possibly a stupid question but I am trying to get the player spawning to work, but for some reason every time I swap teams the game decides to end, even if I put in multiple rounds. I am playing this solo so is it possible it is ending because there are no players left on a team?

@cwalkinsun Once in game or in the pregame lobby, go to the roster where you are listed. Select it, and an option to change teams should be there.

Badlands AI Battlefield fans - I have just released a small update that makes this mod conform with the latest MCC patch released yesterday. Everything should be fully functional just like before. @Nootie Sorry about that. The latest update to the MCC is requiring patches to all mods on the workshop if they want to remain playable. I should have all my mods fully functional within the next 24 hours. Apologies for the inconvenience.

@CogsFixmore Hey there! No worries about those questions - you can tell what state the buttons are in by looking to see if they are flashing or not. If they occasionally blink every few seconds, they are off. If they stay a solid color with no flashing, they are on. Let me know if this helps!

To answer your question - with this map, there is not any way (at least not yet) to place AI with Forge. If you want to try something like that, check out the AI Forge maps made by Sera. Those allow you to place bots with the Forge editor. I personally love his mods and play them all the time! Really good stuff! With my content - I like to automate the entire experience via custom code, and let players have control over it with switches placed on the map. I hope this info can help you!

Don't get me wrong, I think this mod is phenomenal, If i had friends id definitely force them to play this map with me (Sadness ;-;) but is there a way to add spawners for ai without extensive toolplay? like being able to forge a cool map with a bunch of ai and a scarab placed in the center of an arena or smth?

@Seige Thanks for the compliment! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it! It is strange how the Steam rating system works and what also causes the mod to show up for people. I don’t really understand it completely. I’m glad that people enjoyed the mod as much as they did to be honest :)

Thanks! It’s nice to hear from another satisfied player! I would also love to populate the Scarab with a crew. During development of this map, I was able to get the Scarab implemented however I left out adding in a crew due to my own set time constraints. Hopefully with the first update I’ll get this added in. If you had to choose - which AI would you like to see riding on the Scarab?

This rules, I love it a lot! Tons of cool stuff going on with this map, lots of potential for fun!
The advancement that is scarab pathing does make me wonder if it'll someday be possible to have a map that actually has a *populated* scarab, as seen in the campaign, as all the ones that exist so far have only been the scarab itself, but the pathing alone is a HUGE development!

you need to add all the forge pallets from your other maps because currently it doesnt even have the MCC stuff like aa wraith or shade turrets

@Lasky Make sure its button is enabled. The Scarab is not enabled by default. It has a cooldown of about 6-7mins after being killed/button switched on.

Thanks Reaper and glad to see you back playing my mods! I tried to model this battle off of what you would find on the Ark campaign mission. At that point in the story the Elites were working with the UNSC so the decision was made to have them be against the covies.

Amazing mod I really enjoy it. one thing you could add is a elites button for the Covenant side. I also think you should ask rejected shotgun if u can use some of his vehicles in the future.
