Incompatible with this one : can't put cassettes in a Cassette Case and vinyls in a Vinyl Shelf. Care to fix?
Obstructed 5 Dec, 2024 @ 8:19pm
Hello, reiterating on my previous question. Is there an option to make cassettes/vinyls not spawn in sealed containers, or any plans to add such an option? You've mentioned you're potentially working on mod options and this would be something I would love to see implemented there if possible.
60th_AxeHammer 5 Dec, 2024 @ 2:18pm
How can I decrease the spawn rate of these?
regalrelish 5 Dec, 2024 @ 1:04pm
also in the device options it still reads as the sany wutman

I know that it isn't the purpose of this mod but I would really appreciate being able to attach the Walkman to your belt like the radios you can attach. No worries if you can't.
Muhrakk  [author] 30 Nov, 2024 @ 12:38pm
@UnrealVenn I kept it to 1 song per artist to ensure variety and prevent bias. So far, Rock has the largest amount of cassettes (165) in comparison to every other genre, which I try to keep balanced. But maybe in another update I can add more. The walkman's icon or floor sprite is huge? The original size was pretty big to begin with.

@Fossilpaste That's unusual, I haven't been experiencing anything like that. Maybe it's a conflicting mod? #All-Thumbs was experiencing the same issue, I'm not sure why.

@Chløe Thank you so much! You're welcome, thank you for being kind.

@Togna I've been considering making some mod options or something since even I feel like I have a hard time finding my mod's items-- I've been playing on a server with all loot spawns at the lowest settings possible, so it's why I changed the max cassette count from 3 to 4. I do have other little alternative features planned out that I'd like to see if I could implement them, so maybe that could be one of them.

Would love an option to increase spawn rates of the carrying cases, and/or have the cassettes spawn individually. Finding the default TPP cache songs to spawn way more often.
Chløe 29 Nov, 2024 @ 1:46pm
Thank you for this mod! Keep up the great updates :)

UnrealVenn 27 Nov, 2024 @ 4:28pm

Muhrakk  [author] 27 Nov, 2024 @ 4:12pm
@AuD I hope you've been enjoying the mod, thank you!

@Togna Thank you times a million once again, it's always great to know someone's enjoying my work. :steamhappy:

@#All-Thumbs Boomboxes and record players from True Music are two items I know you can operate when they're placed on the ground, but their Walkman item is actually quite peculiar as it doesn't have a 3D model and only shows up as a sprite on the floor. (I don't believe I've tried to use the walkman while it's on the floor before by right clicking it to bring up Device Options.) I know its functions are a bit buggy, but I think being able to equip the walkman to your belt would be something that the creators behind True Music would have to implement. What would be nice is if someone could rework True Music, there's some features to it I'd love to see improved/added. Also, thank you!
All-Thumbs 27 Nov, 2024 @ 2:51pm
Its amazing! Absolutely! But is there any way to place boombox/record player just like the default radios and operate them without them being equipped? Its understandable with a walkman (although it would be nice to be able to put them on my belt, like a walkie - I used to wear my walkman like this :D ) - is there any way to place the recorder/boombox on the ground, or am I missing something or its coming in the future? Thanks!
Togna 25 Nov, 2024 @ 9:24pm
Thank you for the update, this is easily my favourite mod
AuD 24 Nov, 2024 @ 3:30am
Good addition ! i will test this now ^^ ty
Obstructed 23 Nov, 2024 @ 8:59pm
Hello, is there any option to make cassettes/vinyl spawn individually instead of in sealed containers? I love everything you've done with your mod, this one thing just bugs me.
Muhrakk  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 2:34pm
Hi everyone! Today I finally posted a light version of this mod that does not include any music: Spiffophonic Sound Lite .

Spiffophonic Sound Lite includes SFX and vanilla-inspired modifications for True Music , while Spiffophonic Xtra Lite does not include SFX.
Muhrakk  [author] 11 Nov, 2024 @ 8:23pm
@Heretic I think that'd be a great idea! I've considered it a few times in the past; making a separate mod would be the best choice considering I'd hate to eat peoples' hard drive space with music they might not even want. :steamhappy:

I've been working diligently on an update over the last two weeks that includes more new sounds. Once I've pushed it (which will be soon), I'll be sure to post a music-less version afterwards.

@Togna I should have written back sooner but thank you so much and I'm immensely grateful you're loving Spiffophonic Sound!
Heretic 11 Nov, 2024 @ 7:49pm
Do you think you can make the interaction sounds and renames separate modules/submods? I would like to try them with other mods
Togna 30 Oct, 2024 @ 8:30pm
Oh yea after running it, this is what a True Music add-on should be like. Easily gonna be an essential mod from now on.
Muhrakk  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 3:20pm
@MemorySaint I am beyond thrilled that you've been really enjoying my mod! It's compliments like yours that really motivate me to try and improve my work even further. In my opinion, sound design is one of the most critical elements for immersing the player in their environment.

I genuinely spent tons of hours researching and evaluating the greatest hits of each year and it was definitely worth it, especially when I get to read comments like yours. :slimetabby:

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You're more than welcome and I hope you continue to enjoy your experience with it! It's truly an honor. I can't wait to implement even more sounds and features in future updates!
MemorySaint 30 Oct, 2024 @ 3:47am
Thank you for the effort you've put into this collection, this is now my favorite mod for True Music, the sfx for the cassette going into the slot, the crackles of the tapes. I can see you're doing more than just copy and pasting songs just to slap another TMMod together. Already deleted like 4 other large mods I was using just to have yours instead lol. What a joy when I find mods like yours when someone actually puts in time and care to their work :3 Haven't even tried the vinyls yet but I can already tell I love this xD tysm :luv:
Muhrakk  [author] 27 Oct, 2024 @ 12:57pm
@lunarkat Thank you so much! Sound mods are some of my favorite to play with for immersion's sake across all kinds of games. Since I've always wanted to make a mod for Zomboid, I thought this would be a great place to start. :slimetabby:

@Togna Haha, thank you! I'm glad you think so. I genuinely put a lot of effort and research into working on this over the last few weeks. I thought it'd be important to make it stand out from the rest with something different. :spiffo:
Togna 26 Oct, 2024 @ 9:30pm
Awh sweet this looks like a high quality True Music add on and not another quickly slapped together mod.
lunarkat 26 Oct, 2024 @ 3:38am
Awesome! I have yet to test this but it looks great, well done!
