Hello Mantas. It is only now that I have had the pleasure of testing this beauty. Everything just feels *right*. Albeit one thing, mentioned in the comments below, the windshield. In cloudy conditions it is as if I were driving with half-transparent white plexiglass in front of me. Everything looks washed out and horrible in the game world. I get that you want to imitate a windshield texture of a slightly worn down glass surface, but with rF2 materials I don't think it is quite possible. VR experience is even worse it is as if someone put foil over all the windows and told you to drive.

I am sorry I don't own VR, I have no way of testing these things. I definitely don't like "non existant" windshields. But "tiering, blury" windshield also sounds very bad. I don't see other mods with such options, so perhaps there is some other thing to do.

ok I've tried with standard brake too and AI are definitly ok !
it would be nice to have the choice between this blurry windscreen and a full transparent one. it is very tiering on vr...

Thank you. Yes, AI are defaulted to narrow tires, 175hp, base aerodynamics. They are actualyl fast with that configuration. I will have to do optional AI classes for next update, so they could be choosed by players who wants AI that drives different upgrades.

really beautifull ! but now ai are too weak !

Amazing physics! Pure joy to drive! :steamthumbsup:

We can greatly reduce the unknown by checking various data. Technical facts of various parameters. Visual car handling facts - videos and pictures. Interpolating with similar cars. Verbal facts - what people talk, especially good drivers and engineers, people who know stuff. I think people will always be least reliable source of data, even ourselves, me and you can't fully trust our perceptions and memory, we might not be aware of various conditions that could have had significant effects. But if person understands cars, and actually can push the car on the limit properly IRL and then do the same in simulation with minimal "getting used to" time, and equal respect to the car as they have IRL, then it should be a good sign.
I think there is no other sim around which is that good at simulating the neutral steeer. It is such a crucial dynamic for 911.

@Mantasisg
Cool! looking forward to it.
Well, I never drove a 1967 Porsche, but I can imagine it would handle something like you envisioned. It feels like a raw experience where you mostly drive the car on mechanical grip :steamthumbsup:

Hi, John.

Thank you, I hope that the physics are somewhere hitting the ballpark, I personally think they really do, finally, challenging physics to make.

I will definitely be adding more colors, I want to add some liveries too. And it will come with UI icons, I hope. I hope soon.

I have been offered help on windscreen wipers, and if everything works well, next update probably will have it. But can't promise.

The tires are already very good for rain, even 100% wetness. I will be actually adding wider tire as an upgrade, which will be worse for rain haha

Great physics. Well done!
Can you please make 8 more basic colour skins for online racing?

Are you going to add rain tyres and working windscreen wipers?
