cus i dont wanna wait a hour clicking to the next turn to get the new avatar :/
Texian45 5 Mar @ 10:40am
is there a way you could add a sub mod to speed that up??
Amulet of Kings  [author] 5 Mar @ 7:55am
A new Avatar is named the next time a character comes of age in the appropriate nation. Regarding adding new features, this is an overhaul submod, I am not the author of the original mod. I do not know how to edit the campaign map, add cities or create new unit models. If I did, I would create new start dates, such as the beginning of the 100 Years War and the Legend of Korra era.

also how long intill the game finds a new avatar once ang dies?
Texian45 4 Mar @ 1:44pm
like adding more settlements that can have custom names to add a better campaign vibe rather then a look for a split second at these units oh theres only like 20 cities you know what i mean?
Texian45 4 Mar @ 1:42pm
why not this mod could fr add all the stuff people want into this mod

Hi, I'm glad that you are enjoying the mod. Unfortunately, I am no longer developing the mod, only doing maintenance to fix bugs :steamsad:

@amulet of kings

I love this mod and i hope you are still working on it because i got a couple suggestions.
maybe add some miner factions like kyoshi island an the swamp tribe.
it would be cool to get a mission to make them allies and then getting a couple units.

making the borderlands of the earth kingdom vassels would also be a good idea seeing as they are a very decentralized feudal kingdom, for exemple Chin and Gaoling would be a great vassel states

i hope to hear from you and keep up the good work!

needs less open space and more cities imo
Amulet of Kings  [author] 24 Jan @ 1:40pm
I'm not sure what you mean by skirmish battles :steamfacepalm:
malthric 24 Jan @ 12:07pm
will there be same faction skirmish battles? i ask because i would love to do a fire nation civil war skirmish battle.

@Amulet of Kings

Thanks, I will give your tips a try. I do know that there are some navies and armies I can disband that are from from the front. That might help. Thank you!
Amulet of Kings  [author] 26 Dec, 2024 @ 5:27am
I haven't played a Fire Nation campaign, but I would start expanding on the Earth Kingdom lands, their settlements are often easy to find following the roads. Also disband the armies and navies that you are not going to use in the short term.

You could also ask the creator of the original mod for tips, he is the one who balanced the faction economies.

Any tips for the fast expansion. Exploring the map to find rebel settlements for quick expansion before I accumulate negative 6000 is not fun. Without the money to build sewers or other happiness structures my empire sinks into rebellion fast.

As the fire nation I just can't seem to figure this out. Any tips are appreciated. :2019smile:

Well the admirals each controlled fleets and part of the army, Iroh AKA Dragon of the West. You could stretch other ways. I just think it would be ideals to get like 3-5 nations of each for the total war aspect.
Amulet of Kings  [author] 17 Dec, 2024 @ 10:30am
That could work for the Earth Kingdom, which is a rather decentralised country, but the Fire Nation is directly ruled by the Fire Lord. The subfractions wouldn't be unique enough to justify the splitting though.
Ganon Cannon 17 Dec, 2024 @ 10:21am
You should break up the nations into smaller minor factions that you make up. Example, north fire nation east fire nation west fire nation,
Amulet of Kings  [author] 17 Dec, 2024 @ 7:21am
Yes, this is the main challenge for the Fire Nation. It is the strongest faction, so you should expand fast early game to balance the income.
W8taminute 16 Dec, 2024 @ 6:16pm
This is an excellent mod! It's clear a lot of love went into its creation. Thank you for making this for us.

One question. The Fire Nation seems to start with a massive negative income (-3000 per turn). Is this by design?
Amulet of Kings  [author] 11 Dec, 2024 @ 1:21pm
The Legend of Korra would require its own timeline. Some extra factions I can think of would be: Republic City, restablished Air Nomads, the Equalists, Red Lotus and the Earth Empire (separate from the Earth Kingdom). For a pre 100 years was scenario I can only think about the Air Nomads and the Fifth Nation.
Ganon Cannon 10 Dec, 2024 @ 7:31pm
If your trying to keep lore friendly, sadly no real suggestions. But if you mix timelines with korra. IDK just ideas to get more types of war.
Amulet of Kings  [author] 10 Dec, 2024 @ 12:09pm
This is my first mod for Rome Total War, so I don't think that I could deliver a quality job with a new faction. Anyway, do you have any suggestions? I think that all major factions of the original series are included in the mod. A possible addition are the Air Nomads, but they would require another start date.
Ganon Cannon 10 Dec, 2024 @ 11:36am
No chance of more factions?
Amulet of Kings  [author] 2 Dec, 2024 @ 5:58am
Are you subscribed to the original mod (The Last Airbender: Total War Remastered)? You need to activate both the original mod and this submod in the launcher, load this submod on top and launch Rome Total War (not Alexander or Barbarian Invasion).

nice

Sorry I was mistaken. It seems the AI benders will randomly charge straight to melee from the base mod alone too. Thanks for this great overhaul submod!
Amulet of Kings  [author] 17 Nov, 2024 @ 1:48am
Thanks for the comment! I have checked the submod on github, but it seems to be a work in progress. Which benders had this issue? I have recently played a campaign, earth, sand and fire benders were working fine for me.
Teenspeedy 16 Nov, 2024 @ 8:48pm
Also, I just noticed a bug where AI benders prefer charging into melee rather shooting. This is happening in the campaign and custom battle
Teenspeedy 16 Nov, 2024 @ 6:42pm
Awesome submod, I'm excited to try this out. There's another unofficial submod on a github website that adds new portraits, names for generals, and new regions. The author doesn't have instructions, and I struggled installing it myself. Perhaps you'll be able to implement
