Update: Imminently after posting my question I found it the face button next to the randomize character button. Select Human.

Love the mod but, is there a way to decrease the chance of Ant and Butterfly Pawns at character creation? I can't find any configuration?

This is quite possibly my favorite mod on the workshop. Others may have very important features that should be base game but this mod is so simple yet so awesome. This mod literally gave me a special interest for insects. It has triggered my autism and won't let go. I wish I could give steam reviews for individual mods because this mod makes rimworld so much better. I cannot play this game without this mod.

That's a quirk from the portrait image of colonists. Ingame the head wll look normal. The offset is because Queens are larger ingame than they are on the portrait.

There'll be an update coming eventually, after I have done some playtesting. It will contain some minor stuff for the Biotech Dlc, and a new type of Insect-Folk. Yes, we are expanding the entomological scope in lepidopteran directions! Prepare for some pretty butterflies/moths! :steamhappy:

Most of those suggestions use the Biotech DLC, because Biotech adds procreation. To make it a feature for the base game, I'd prolly need to mess with the thinktree, because humanlikes per default don't have a task to lay eggs. Alternatively I just keep Ant Folk procreation a Biotech exclusive. :steammocking:

maybe you could ask the developer of the vivi mod or rim-hivers for their egg laying code
though if you do, please make it configurable for people who want fast/slow reproduction rates

The base game doesn't support reproduction or egg-laying for colonists. But I have an idea on how I may "cheat" the system. The Mod Setting config is also on my mental to-do.

I love the progress so far! the only thing need now for fully ant people is the queen being able to reproduce fast (I would like it to be a config if possible)

Rimworld doesn't seem to have a mechanic to allow males and females to have different stats. I just pushed an update and fixed it to give all males a "Drone" trait. It makes them slightly weaker, but faster and more charming. :steamhappy:

Interesting, can they be NPC factions, with gentle, rough, savage variants, it seems the case from the world screenshot though.
Adding an option to alter the spawn rate of the subvariants would be nice. Do Drones move faster than the rest?

In the current version there are currently no mechanics that make Queens lay eggs. It was the original plan tho. So a future update will contain the feature, if I manage to tinker it into existence.
