yeah low fps happens to me. from 100fps to 25fps.

I give you a good rating, but you have to know how to optimize the area since you put too many elements and this causes the fps to drop sharply. We don't have graphics cards like yours.

Yeah, barrels here and there are fun to explode, pace of action was fine but optimization sucks. And also I stepped a bit further than map planned and I was caught in imperfect script work - I thought there was a breather after Barnacles to solve a simple puzzle but when I returned to the box for it there was Barnacles spawned when I didn't find them a second ago.

It was an incredibly fun mod, but it barely hits 40fps on the steam deck. If it was better optimized, this could be 5 stars.

Visual wise, this is fantastic. I love the use of the explosive barrels throughout progression, and I think its a pretty fun short little map.

That being said, Optimization is still a massive issue. Frame rates drops are very noticable in a lot of the more outdoor areas and especially in the final area, which is a pain since a lot of the bigger fights happen in these areas.

Additionally, the ending feels like a let down. After being harrassed by the helicopter for so long, you go up an elevator, kill the annoying stalker, and the helicopter randomly explodes. Feels like there should have been either a clearer reason as to why the helicopter is destroyed, or add a RPG up there and let the player finally take it out themselves.

Hey everyone, thanks for playing my level. I have fixed and changed a huge list of items that were not suited for a public release. This goes from simple things like clipping, to certain encounters being reworked and scripted sequences. Look at the change notes. I pushed the final update today, there are other things that could be worked on, however I have other projects I am working on.

Map was made in december of 2023, completed for the video demo before january 2024. I did not intended on going back and fixing things or releasing the map, however the workshop update made me change my mind. Please let me know if there are any more serious problems.

couple of times it seemed like npcs were respawning whenever I turned my back, otherwise it was a short but sweet mod. loved the density of it.

Nevermind, it was a weapons pack bug (wtf?). Anyway it's a great map!

The glowing parts (lights on the helipad for example) are doubled for some reason (maybe it's problem just on my side but idk)
