It was a good fun, lost a Sverdlov but wiped the floor. Getting shot by harpoon is offset by the submarine getting a full datalink but it does distract from the period flavor, which features ships from early days of missile age.
FRAM cans are dandy but they hardly present any challenge against 6-inchers and SA-1 surface mode salvos. I suggest removing the harpoon Coontz and placing more 3-T missile ships (terrier, talos, tartar missiles), maybe also randomize spawn a bit.
You could add a Kynda or two to balance things out afterwards.

What do you mean spice up the mission? Yea it was a coontz, i sunk it later with the foxtrot sub. But if you set the date to 69 you should put time frame accurate units, otherwise it completely destroys the immersion and makes it unfair for the player imo.
I hope they add an option in the mission maker to limit selectable units by mission date, and add more variations of units as you mentioned a Coontz (early) for example without the harpoons.

Yap, a think it was coontz-class destroyer, I just think that this little assumption can spice up a mission a little, coonts was in service at the moment of the mission without harpoons but still

I am playing this mission rn and there is something wrong, i get attacked by RGM-84 in 1969???
I think u placed a wrong ship for the enemy fleet out of time frame. Please fix because otherwise this mission is awesome!:soviet:
