The MMOD weapon sounds add-on for this mod doesn't replace the pistol and shotgun sounds; it simply plays the default HL2 sound. It doesn't bother me much, but I'd like to be able to hear the MMOD sounds on the pistol and shotgun. Could you fix this?
Here you go. This is only the viewmodels, so you still need to get everything else from this item.
Cool mod by the way.
"My game keeps on getting these errors:
SV_StartSound: ^weapons/ar3/npc_ar3_fire1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: ^weapons/ar3/npc_ar3_fire2.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: ^weapons/ar3/npc_ar3_fire3.wav not precached (0)
I've placed the vpk files in the custom folders and everything else seems to be working just fine, it's just the AR3/Emplacement Gun that's broken."
I finally managed to fix it. You no longer need to move the vpks to your custom folder. Also accidentally deleted the comment clicking into Steam
The VPK files you want to copy should be located by following this pathway
Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 220 > 3368360039
You want to take all the files from that folder and then create a custom folder at
Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Half-Life 2 > custom
put those copied VPK files in that custom folder. If that doesn't work then create a custom folder at
Half-Life 2 > hl2 > custom
and drop them in there
Hope this helps anyone who is having trouble with the missing sounds!
