okay i get that, thanks for the quick answer :D
Silver Sokolova  [author] 5 May @ 2:06pm
@Solzucht both to make storing large amounts of the same item easier, like if you need extra copies of costumes for other characters or builds, and as a generic fix for mods that have super low stack sizes
Solzucht 5 May @ 7:45am
not meaning to sound dismissive-whats the relative use of this mod?
i understand its principle, but how its applied i dont, maybe i am in the minority here but i usually only have 1 of each unstackable item i think, atleast armors and weapons.
thank you for continous good work :)

Could you make a simple mod that would permanently remove items that drop after death, that would be interesting

there is a little problem with the mod "Feast of fire and smoke", the dollar currency has a bigger stock of 1000 so you can stack it a lot, with this mod the max stock is fixed at 1000 and can cause a big loss of the material and also awkward storage saturation of lots of dollars stacks, is there a way to fix this?
Silver Sokolova  [author] 31 Mar @ 7:20pm
@Dancing Bear right-click to take 1 from the stack
Dancing Bear 31 Mar @ 6:49pm
Is there a fix for one-handed weapons? I find myself stacking 2 weapons on my left hand instead of being able to dual wield with this mod :zagsnooze:
Dr_Shadox 20 Feb @ 2:19am
Ok nice (as i wanted then)
thanks you for your answer Silvers (and yours mods ofc)
Silver Sokolova  [author] 20 Feb @ 1:15am
@Dr_Shadox separate
Dr_Shadox 19 Feb @ 9:45pm
Hey Silver, i wanna ask you if for example i have a red colored shirt, and a blue colored shirt , will they stack or stay as separate items ?
Silver Sokolova  [author] 5 Feb @ 9:52pm
@Nofe no, sorry. it could be added to this mod, but i have no plans to, sorry
Nofe 5 Feb @ 8:22pm
@Silver Sokolova Is there anyway to not stacking up dual wielding weapon? I find myself frequently sorting items but meanwhile dual wielding the same weapons. Which causing unequip one of them.

If this isn't too difficult for you, could you give me some advice on adding the code? There is an issue where items are easily copied when the hologram driver of the digital storage overlaps. This mod is really convenient as it saves me from having to use dozens of stack adjustment mods.
Silver Sokolova  [author] 24 Jan @ 12:32pm
@Boooo i could update the mod to have that but it's currently not a thing in the mod
Boooo 24 Jan @ 10:09am
Is there a way to make an exception so that only a few items with a specific id are not stacked?

@Nofe unfortunately FU is coded to cosume the whole stack
Nofe 19 Jan @ 4:47am
Found a bug. With FU, stacking "Loot Box" item open once. Causing loss of all other stacked boxes.

@ᶜʳᵉᵃᵏᵒ Unfortunately the Food Processor mod probably doesn't check the game's default stack limit if an item doesn't have one of its own. Not much I can do about it unless oSB gets the functionality to read config files in postload script patch scripts
my mod works by removing the maxStack from non-currency items, which makes Starbound look at an item and go, "Oh, you, Mr. Item, didn't set your own max stack. Luckily for you, I have a global default max stack just for this occasion!"
ᶜʳᵉᵃᵏᵒ 14 Jan @ 7:24am
Not sure about how other stack extension mods work, but this one will cause function math.min to error when comparing maxStack, such as Food Processor
Silver Sokolova  [author] 9 Dec, 2024 @ 1:14pm
@Mabra no, you have to pick one. OpenStarbound is headed by the same person who made StarExtensions so eventually most of the SE features will be in oSB
Mabra 9 Dec, 2024 @ 12:28am
Does openstarbound work with starextensions ?
TheSilentAngryCat 27 Nov, 2024 @ 11:27am
wish we didnt need OSB for it the downloads and setups are confusing
TheSilentAngryCat 27 Nov, 2024 @ 9:26am
ah fair lol
patman 26 Nov, 2024 @ 7:47am
lol
Silver Sokolova  [author] 26 Nov, 2024 @ 6:29am
@TheSilentAngryCat no, sorry. it can't be put on Steam for technical reasons
TheSilentAngryCat 25 Nov, 2024 @ 11:12pm
osb
Silver Sokolova  [author] 25 Nov, 2024 @ 8:05pm
@TheSilentAngryCat what required files? everything the mod needs aside from oSB is included in the download
TheSilentAngryCat 25 Nov, 2024 @ 7:06pm
can you make it so this mod already has the required files?
Silver Sokolova  [author] 25 Nov, 2024 @ 2:35pm
Nice catch. I use a mod that increases the global stack limit so I didn't notice. I've made it not patch currency items until a better solution becomes possible
TheSilentAngryCat 25 Nov, 2024 @ 11:25am
to complicated
Bottinator22 25 Nov, 2024 @ 10:04am
this is indeed an error in the mod, nothing to do with oSB derivatives
Bottinator22 25 Nov, 2024 @ 10:01am
ah, I see how it works
Bottinator22 25 Nov, 2024 @ 10:00am
hmm, did you make sure to use math.max in your load code so you don't accidentally reduce the max stack size of items with max stack above the default?
rar 24 Nov, 2024 @ 4:27pm
@Silver yea
Silver Sokolova  [author] 24 Nov, 2024 @ 9:55am
@rar You're using OpenStarbound and not a derivative, right?
Hyperdino 24 Nov, 2024 @ 5:54am
@rar I'd recommend going to the starbound discord and making a problem report. Is there anything in the logs when this happens? Also drop your modlist :p2turret:
rar 24 Nov, 2024 @ 12:54am
did both methods, same result unfortunately. the bug persisted until i uninstalled the mod, there's also the side effect of it rounding down crafting recipes that require +1000 pixels down to 1000
Silver Sokolova  [author] 23 Nov, 2024 @ 10:03pm
I can't recreate the voxel issue. I don't think it's related to this mod, especially since the amount of money given by voxels is unrelated to stack size
Silver Sokolova  [author] 23 Nov, 2024 @ 8:37pm
@rar The vanilla voxels? Are you turning them into pixels with a 'use your hand to do so' mod or through the vanilla machine?
rar 23 Nov, 2024 @ 7:07pm
found a bug that limits voxels to giving you 1000 pixels regardless of size, is there anyway to exclude pixels from the stack list?
