This is ONE OF THE BEST MAP mod I ever had. In fact I stopped mid game to make this comment. The ambience is fucking insane, makes the gameplay super immersive (e.g. imagine sneaking up enemy base from the swamp at 6 in the morning). So fucking cool:hopoofeather::hopoofeather:

Thats arma limits, I will not edit the heightfield any further. This map isnt exactly suitable for dynamic missions I suppose, nor was it designed for those. But thanks for your feedback either way.

Lighting is based on something I found on the a3 forums if I recall correctly, but its been a while so not 100% sure.

Thank you for this piece of work, really good map with great atmosphere. I really like small maps like that, fps are high and you can still play some interesting missions here. Speaking of missions, I have made one based on random generation right on this map, if anyone is interested, here it is: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3384271209

Having said that, here is some feedback: AI has some serious issues pathfinding at some places, especially if there is a lot of water around. Main offender here is sunken village, when I was making the mission AI was simply unable to achieve that spot which made me not use this POI unfortunately :( I think editing the area sp that there is always some very shallow water leading to a location could help.

Didnt realize 1m cell was even possible. Dont play the Apoco/Zombie stuff but might have to try just for micro-terrain ability

Yeah some rocks sound like a good idea, will add them some time soon.
As for performance I cant say I have the same issue as you do, though there is some changes to clutter I can make to try and improve it a bit.

I'd love to see this slightly bigger (like 4x4), but I can understand why you made it this way, my frames drop by half with view distance bigger than the map's size, it's these Contact trees I guess. Looks great. Would like to see more rock clutter in the woods to use as additional cover.

Yeah those are not floating in the mission I placed them in, seems to be an issue with the terrain being offset a few milimeters compared to the objects themselves, causing this issue with the way arma bakes them into the map. Not much I can do other than removing them or trying around a lot until I get it right. And I'll be honest I dont feel like that is an issue I want to spend hours on.
I fixed some here and there after your report but sadly some remain.
