Report a translation problem
If I do a translation, I need to be able to read what exactly I am writing to be able to ensure it is accurate. I cannot do so in a language that I do not speak. Best bet would be for someone who knows Russian and either English or German to do it, or else ask the person who create a partial translation previously (Germany: More Events (Vanilla +) Рус )
to update his translation.
Thank you for the interest in my mod.
At its heart, my mod is a historical mod. It is true however it does have some alt-history content in it, mostly for something close to possible, and more just to give a bit of content to successful players.
I do not consider a Nazi invasion of the USA to be plausible enough to start writing large numbers of events for it, so I have left it where it is, and do not really plan on expanding it further.
It is true that a successful game requires defeating the USA as Germany, a decision I don't really agree with. But I have still decided not to.
In terms of the USA on its own going into civil war or becoming fascist from the focus tree, I think that would require events for the USA, nor for Germany, which is the focus of this mod.
1.1 Released: A large update.
A 'yes' will suffice.
Correct. The only language officially supported currently is English (possibly 1 more language in the future). I am definitely not against others translating the mod, should they decide to.
I spent a good amount of time trying to flesh out Germany in this mod, leveraging German-language documents and primary sources. I think I could provide that added value for this subject.
When it comes to the USSR, I do not feel I could necessarily do the subject matter justice. Certainly not compared to a Russian speaker, or someone who grew up in Russia, has better knowledge of the USSR and Soviet history. There isn't a doubt in my mind that such a person could flesh out content for the USSR better than I ever could.
When it comes to the USA, I think I might come close, but still feel a passionate American individual, or better yet, more than one individual, would be needed to do the subject matter justice, fleshing out 1936 to 1943+. I think, especially if there is another DLC rework of the USA and Pacific theatre, this should be considered. I could support at most.
@dalek:2150: I see. Well I added triggers to that news event, notably that Germany has to be either democratic or fascist. If Germany were to become a monarchy, the event would not fire, leaving the possibility of someone else making an event that better suits the situation.
@Tennozan: You're very welcome. Thank you for writing. Happy to hear from people who like the mod and have any feedback to give.
The main focus of this mod is to provide more flavour of a historical run as Germany. I am afraid alt-history is always a tricky thing, trying to imagine a plausible counterfactual over an extended timeline. As things stand, there is enough from our timeline that in my opinion, needs to be added. Even if I did decide it were worthwhile to add in alt-history, it would probably make the primary content suffer.
I think Nazi Germany winning already is about as alt-history as I would do. While hopefully also providing events if Germany is losing as it historically did.

(Note: I cannot speak Russian so therefore cannot confirm the quality or content).
Thanks a lot.
The thing is, your translation file is no longer complete, as there are now 84 events. You have translated up to event 64. (And I will likely expand as time goes by).
For now however, if you translate the last 20, I will rework the mod to have the responses in the localisation file and do it that way going forward. Hopefully at some point, whether with help or on my own, there should also be a translation into German, and this rework will be needed anyway.

Very kind of you. Thanks a lot. If you could post it somewhere then I would gladly add it to the mod. Of course I will take a look to make sure the translations are more or less correct, and possibly correct as necessary.
