Try checking roster as Baktra. I see here that 100% units appears onyly in Baktra roster when it comes to Custom battles. Start Grand Campaign as Pontus/Baktria or Sparta to have more than 80% of units from the mod
From my side i have updated the mod just to be sure.
You can change that with PFM (.pack files manager) for Rome 2.
If mod creator says that his mod increases all units (modded and vanilla) yes, it is possible, but to increase my units numbers he would have to use my "database"(dunno how to call it) with all stats and names.
You can tone down stats with Pack File Manager programm from Total War Forums.
Most of units do die easly vs stronger enemy units on hard and vs medium units on realism.
Aegis is kinda OP but their attack is pure bullshit and they are killing one lvl 1 unit for 5 minutes.
After downloading and startin it for first time, just skip every "locate ATW(Atilla Total War, etc)" or locate them if you have those Total Wars.
Anyway, You are in the main window now, click on File then on Open, window will pop up.
On disk where you installed steam navigate to \Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data (or simply to yours Rome TW data folder).
Open PACK file called "wos".
Now its easy part. Navigate to "faction_uniform_colours_tables" and
"faction_banner_tables" you will see "color_colorfactions_banners in first one and colorfaction_uniform_colour in secend one.
Simply, delete tabs where key is named rom_rome, or change faction color to your liking
Every freaking thing works in my copy of the game and in Assembly Kit.
If you are missing textures after this fix you are on your own.
Last tip i can give you: You can try fixing it by downloading kingguards by Lord Buio.
For now its. Lancets Disc, Sisters of Ares and Min Spears. Seems its the same helmet that cause the issue from what i can tell. Is the helmet from some of the newer dlcs?
About them beeing strong, yes they are made to be front line defense, as you can see they are not very good at killing but they are amazing at surviving countless waves of enemies.
Mostly for you Serius, onyly one unit has not vanilla shields and helmets so its really wierd thing. Try what Nightwolf suggested, it is essential for this mod to be on top of load order.
Nightwolf. You mean Aegis is getting invisible if your camera is too far away from unit, right?
