@Vylanya I added compatibility with Vanilla Races Expanded - Sanguophage. Corpsefeeders should now get the moodlet and increased nutrition. (Thanks to the user H.S.)
I also included patches for the nutrition of the hemogen packs in that mod.

TL;DR: This mod isn’t fully compatible with VRE-S, but most issues are either easy fixes or not highly impactful.

@ChroChro, I’m experiencing the same issue. I don’t use Medieval Overhaul, so my standard hemogen packs are set to 1.0 nutrition when using this mod, but the VRE-S packs are still at 0.1. To fix this, assuming you're using RimPy, right-click on the VRE-S mod, select "Open Folder," then navigate to 1.5 > Defs > ThingDefs_Items. Open the Items_Food.xml file and change the three hemopack entries from <Nutrition>0.1</Nutrition> to <Nutrition>1.0</Nutrition>.

For the base hemopack, follow the same path but start by right-clicking on the Biotech DLC. If changing Biotech’s hemopack nutrition doesn’t resolve the issue, another mod may be modifying hemopacks. Medieval Overhaul could be the culprit in your case, though I can’t verify since I don’t use it. In any case you’ll need to locate the mod modifying base hemopacks and adjust the nutrition value accordingly.

One thing to note—though I can’t find a fix for this—the moodlets don’t seem to work with VRE-S hemopacks. The Biotech hemopack triggers the "Cold Sippy" moodlet, and feeding on any xenotypes or animals triggers the "Mmmm Sippy Sippy!" stacking moodlet. However, feeding on corpses doesn’t give a moodlet and provides very little nutrition. It would be great if this mod and VRE-S were fully compatible, as the benefits of feeding on sanguophage hemopacks are nice. However, by the time you can reliably farm sanguophage hemopacks, the +4 moodlet probably isn’t that impactful, especially since you could just feed on a living sanguophage for the VRE-S buff plus this mod’s stacking +8 moodlet—though this requires the "Sanguofeeder" gene.

Great mod overall. Sanguophages feeding on blood for hemogen and nutrition should probably be a base game feature, but I digress.

rimrim crashed on start-up when I tried moving the mod order around, would try experimenting with it more if it didn't take a solid 15 minutes each time, if I can figure out some basic xml editing I'll see if I can force the hemopacks to carry 1.0 nutrition

oh that makes sense! i'll try moving it above those mods (especially medieval if it's just wigging out over it being a bottle instead of a pack) and see if that makes it work
Mlie  [author] 17 Jan @ 2:35pm
@ChroChro Perhaps one of those mods needs to update their compatibility patches to reflect the name-change of the mod.
ChroChro 17 Jan @ 2:29pm
not sure if something changed in the transfer to 1.5 or if me using medieval overhaul or vre-sang is messing with it but the normal hemogen packs (bottles thanks to medieval) are still only 0.1 nutrition, even when placing tasty hemo at the bottom of the list (only rocketman below it) the nutrition is still low, live feeding works just fine, if anyone has even a scuffed fix that'd be greatly appreciated ty <3

@Mlie Well, their mods are usually hit or miss. Some fit with basegame quite nicely, some add too much bloat, and some are just unbalanced and broken pile of sh… ahem

@Alexander Zagirov No idea, I dont really use VE
Alexander Zagirov 10 Jan @ 10:03pm
is it compatible with VRE - Sanguophage and it's new hemogen types?
