I just notice. Mk153 round in this mod is faster (350m/s) than CUP and RHS counterpart (220m/s).

Upon further investigation it appears that maybe I'm having an issue with round performance. I was testing the rounds in the virtual arsenal and noticed they were landing approximately 50m short on a 250m target, but another player tested and did not get the same problem. Not sure what to make of this. The above is in reference to the integrated sight.

@Furry Gang the Mk153 rounds and reticle as well as launcher are configured the same as the MAWWS from vanilla. as for sights on the rail, correct their ranging does nothing, this is an Arma issue. The sights intended to be used with the rail version are things such as the Holo, ACO, or at most the ACOG

Just wanted to report that the sights on the SMAW all fail to range properly. With the built in Rangefinding sight rounds land short, and with other sights zeroing has seemingly no effect whatsoever. I suggest taking another look at the built in sight and making sure that one at least lines up predictably.

@ceebee i have no intention of doing CUP/RHS intigration, there isnt really a point in doing so, as well as technical level differences. I wont ever be doing native RHS/CUP compat

I hope one day someone may create West and East weapons that don't depend on any other mod. That would be amazing. Because RHS and Cup kill your FPS and they're not that good. What JCA is doing is amazing these mods are very good. I used the infantry pack before and it was very good. I hope you can make some AK's, PKM's and RPG's it would be good.

Graves dropping another banger, yes this is a common weapon system that is made in other mods, but it is friendly to the other JCA weapon packs (my beloved Gen 4 weapon family:steamhappy:) and i cant wait to see what else can be produced, i have been running JCA/E22/AEGIS for months and love the vanilla quality of the work, ive been recently using the Gen 4 weapon family on the new expeditionary forces CDLC and it truely makes the marines feel like marines, brings a tear to my eye as a member of the 0311 community myself, great work as always graves.

@_mickey_ You seem to not know how these things work

Ill start with why other weapons such as the M16 and M4s are compatible, this is because both RHS and myself add our new mags and attachments to the default magwell for 5.56 and also the CBA slots for attachments. This is pretty standard practice for modding. The compatibility there is purely coincidental due to it being the most efficient way to do these things.

As for what i said about sounds and reloads, I was stating that this is an early release, this is why sounds, as well as reloads, and the custom sight are not included.

the Mk153 on the other hand, has no default magazine well that either RHS or myself would add the rounds to, so both RHS and myself make our own custom magwell for the Mk153, meaning no compatibility. Hope this clears up how configs work and how you can end up with minor compatibility in some ways and not others

I see that your JCA weapon (M-16A4, M4A1) is partially compatible with other mods. For example, with RHS and even GM. In addition, CUP or RHS, - after all, these are the main mods, and it is extremely strange to ignore this fact.

@_mickey_ sounds, reloads and lack of sight are due to this being an early release as it says in the description, as for no compat with CUP or RHS, I have never taken either of them into account when making my weapons. Even so the CUP and RHS ones most likely dont use mag proxies, which this launcher does, so would not actually show any rounds in the launcher were they to be used together to my knowledge

@Grave thanks for sharing this with us, nice 3D models and textures, but it's not playable at least for me. my personal claims here:

1) the shot sound is just terrible, it copy/paste vanilla sound. For a user who has been using JSRS or DynaSound for many years it sounds shameful
2) there is no compatibility with CUP or RHS which also have Mk 153 ammo

Of course I won't tell you what to do with this, you know yourself...
