You are correct good sir. For some reason the Umbrella Admin backpack was causing the shave option to be absent. I love your Mod, its awesome. Thank you

It is "true damage" so 2 = 2hp per use. 100hp stick would have 50 uses. :)

Turns out having a beard is what causes the bug. Shave it off and the paint will appear. This is fixed and will be pushed on the 1.28 DayZ update.

Confirmed a bug with all paints in the scar category. Will fix for 1.28 update.

Tree, is there a known issue with the Scar portion? I can get camos and things to work but when I try the bear scar for example on the bald survivor, nothing. It used to work on SRP pre-wipe, I never tried it on the new one, and I am unable to get it to work on BSRP.

What other mods are you running? I have several large servers running this mod so I am hesitant when I cannot reproduce with only CF and this mod.

We experienced the same problems on our server. We had the persistence of paint enables but it was not saved and the food and water got resettet to 600 for everyone who relogs. We deactivated the persistence of facepaint and the food/water bug is gone. Occured exactly with the CF Update.

It's not a crash, it just resets hunger and thirst to 600 when you relog (and it no longer saves the facepaint when you relog). If I remove the mod, everything goes back to normal. If I add it again, the bug comes back.

I am not sure this is my mod causing issues. We run this on our server WITH CF and not having any crashes.

When I made the first facepaint mod I was very junior in my modding experience. It was my first major mod that I built and published. That was 4 years ago xD. I've learned so much since then and felt it prudent to revisit my mod popular mod and do an overhaul to update the content to be more friendly to 1. new paints added and 2. modding friendly so other people can learn or enhance this addon. Both mods are fully working but are "coded" differently.

Good question. The value is total damage. So currently the value 2 will do 2 damage per use. If you changed it to 100, it would destroy the stick since the stick only has like 50 hp. (You can override this hp if you want in your own override addon)

Great job done, ItsaTreee! One quick question: Is the value of m_PaintStickDamagePerUse meant to be percentage, so that 100.0 would mean "single use, only"?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. There was an issue with the key and pbo signatures. All fixed and it should be using the same key as the original mod.

Hey, are you guys able to use the mod normally?
I used the previous version without any issues, but when I try switching to this one, I keep getting the error 'Client has a PBO which is no part of the server.' I've already deleted everything, repaired files, checked the key, changed the load order of the mods, wiped the test server, renamed the mod folder, and even tried the command steamProtocolMaxDataSize = 4000; on the serverdz to check if it’s a launcher bug.
Still, I can't join the server at all with this mod. If I remove it from the server's mod list, I can log in just fine. Any ideas?
