Depends on how badly it's broken. If I have to recreate the mod (especially 3D models), no. If I just have to add/remove/change a line of code or so, yes.
Courier 16 JUL 2024 a las 18:24
can you update it
Shaostoul  [autor] 12 JUL 2024 a las 0:11

Shaostoul  [autor] 29 JUL 2017 a las 19:41
That'd be because devs changed how glass works again. I'll try to get to it if I have time.
MONKEY Child 29 JUL 2017 a las 17:02

MONKEY Child 28 JUL 2017 a las 3:08
YES, I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Skallabjorn 28 MAY 2017 a las 11:13
Im good with that. take care of yourself first, no rush.
Shaostoul  [autor] 28 MAY 2017 a las 11:10
I might be able to? My health has been in the crapper the last few months, so it'd probably take a while. It sounds like you want two blocks. A 1x1x1 programming block and 1x1x1 display screen. We can't combine block types to make it a single block so, it'd have to be two.
Skallabjorn 28 MAY 2017 a las 10:48
I would like to commision a mod if you are interested. Small block programing block, rectangular , 1 x 1 x 2 with the keyboard on lower half and a working 1 x 1 text screen on uper half, would this be possible? ( thus blocks attachable to all sides but the facing side )
Shaostoul  [autor] 22 ENE 2017 a las 16:50
Nah, it should be pretty straightforward to fix the issue.
RobinHorn 22 ENE 2017 a las 15:19
Let me know if the full log file would help
RobinHorn 22 ENE 2017 a las 15:18
No pressure! I understand life intruding :)
Shaostoul  [autor] 22 ENE 2017 a las 13:37
Alright, I'll look into it. I'm not sure what it could be that's causing that but, I'm sure I can find out. Give me a while, I have a lot of stuff on my plate right now.
RobinHorn 22 ENE 2017 a las 11:26
Alright, I tried deleting the sbm that you indicated, created a new empty world with the this the only mod. It still crashed. When I found the SpaceEngineers.log file, it has "Importing asset failed C:/Users/xxxxxxxx/AppData/Roaming/SpaceEngineers/Mods/340091841.sbm/Models/Cubes/Small/SC_YT_Cockpit_Glass.mwm"
Immediatly after that it says
"Exception occured: System.OutOfMemoryException: Array dimensions exceeded supported range." Looking at the call backs in that error message, it happens in the VRageRender.Import.MyModelImporter methods
Shaostoul  [autor] 21 ENE 2017 a las 13:28
Alright, thanks for the fyi.
RobinHorn 21 ENE 2017 a las 11:53
Ill give that a try. Im out of town right now.
Shaostoul  [autor] 17 ENE 2017 a las 14:56
I wouldn't think it would crash from not using DX9 but, it is possible. Does it happen with any other mods?

You might try deleting the 340091841.sbm in the appdata/roaming/spaceengineers/mods folder and redownloading the mod. It might've messed up on download as well.
RobinHorn 17 ENE 2017 a las 11:45
Whenever I try and put this in the active bar, I get a memory crash with space engineers, I am only using 50% of my memory immediatly prior to the crash. Is this because it doesnt use DX11?
Kermondale 19 DIC 2016 a las 20:47
Family is Very impotaint, Space Engineers is Just a Hobby, it is not ment to b Whole life...
Shaostoul  [autor] 18 DIC 2016 a las 19:21

Kermondale 2 NOV 2015 a las 17:23
Thank you.
Shaostoul  [autor] 2 NOV 2015 a las 15:39
In the process of updating/fixing all of my stuff. This is on the list, in time.
Kermondale 2 NOV 2015 a las 15:37
Dx11?
Shaostoul  [autor] 8 JUL 2015 a las 20:47
Hello all, issuing some warnings prior to release in the next couple days.

ARMOR: Most all should be okay. A few special blocks may be rotated.

INTERIORS: Due to some complications, some blocks will be rotated 90-180 degrees.

MOUNT POINTS: All models are receiving proper mount points. Cheaty placed objects may suffer.

CONSTRUCTION MODELS: All models are receiving their own CON models. This will solve several issue, such as deadly interior corridors.

DX11/DX9: Will be supported on the update.

DESIGN: Many models were lost when my PC died. Several models have been overhauled as a result.

SIZE: The mod is presently around 1.42 GB in size uncompressed, fair warning.

Any further notices will be posted as necessary. Sorry for all the inconvenient changes. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, let me know.

Please check out the following link to aid me in acquiring a new PC:

Hello ladies and gentlemen, as some of you may know, my PC died and I've been unable to mod any significant amount or be of much help trying to educate others in modding. My tutorials series has for example, completely ceased for until this is resolved. After some serious discussion about options and waiting a few weeks to see how things played out, I've decided to start a GoFundMe campaign in an effort to accelerate the process of getting a new PC so I can get back into modding and teaching others how to do so.

To view the campaign and donate you go here: {ENLACE ELIMINADO}

And if you could please spread the word, I'd be eternally grateful for the additional support!

Thank you and I hope you all have a wonderful day,
Michael "Shaostoul" Boisson

NOTICE:

Hello everyone, today I suffered from a brown out that fried most of my PC, thankfully the HDD wasn't one of those. A friend has lent me a PC older than mine that is low-end until I can save up for a new PC. I will continue to work on things, but progress will be hampered significantly. If you'd like to lend a hand in raising money for the new PC, I'd greatly appreciate it!

MY MODS: Nearly had the DX9 release done, then the DX11 update came. Was going to improve all of my blocks, may just convert everything to work as is over to DX11 due to computer failure, just so my stuff works in DX11 for now.

STAR WARS COLLAB: Progress is great, lots of new mods/modders being added. Will focus on this more than my mods, since it's the easier/shorter of the two.

I apologize for this inconvenience and hope to have something out to you guys soon. Have a good day!

Shaostoul  [autor] 21 MAY 2015 a las 16:24
NOTICE:

The latest update to SE has broken some of my blocks. I'm taking the time now to update all of my blocks, which is in the ball park of 500 blocks. Both in code and models. This means the MWM's will be getting updated, the mount points, construction models, collision mesh, orientation, etc. are all subject to change. Please patient through this process. I will do my best to avoid any reorientation of models, as happened with the force fields. My master pack will be updated to include all of my mods and then it will be parted out to the respective small mod portions. I presently have around 700 MWM files, I expect this number to reach over 1000 by the time the update finishes. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. I can't provide a good ETA on when it will be done, but I'm shooting for before next Thursday, but it very well could take significantly longer.

Thank you,
Shaostoul

Hey guys, just started a new mod of a bunch of collab made Star Wars related stuff. Check it out! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=444678710

Sounds good duder, we'll figure this out.
Matthew Spindler 13 MAY 2015 a las 3:57
I'm not asked asking for chair animations. And I'm also not looking for them to be well detailed. More like a "jist"

I'm going to send you a friend request and we can talk.
Shaostoul  [autor] 12 MAY 2015 a las 18:26
Hmmmm, the chairs might be tricky, I don't know if I can do the animation part for it. The chess board thing would be more doable. Both models would take quite a long while to do though. What were you possibly thinking around?
Shaostoul  [autor] 3 MAR 2015 a las 1:33
I've not made any others. This was a special request. I am however not opposed to doing more. Especially if it's paid, as I'm very much so hurting on money.
General Butt Nekked 2 MAR 2015 a las 19:39
Are any other custom YT blocks available for download anywhere? They're amazing on the Outrider.
Freemann 15 ENE 2015 a las 2:39
Well on the pictures it works for a large ship, which is better ^^ :(
Shaostoul  [autor] 14 ENE 2015 a las 15:09
It's what the person who commissioned it wanted.
Freemann 14 ENE 2015 a las 3:48
It only works for small ship ? :(
Shortsonfire79 17 NOV 2014 a las 14:19

Keen has mentioned on several occasions that donations/commissions are acceptable.
Shaostoul  [autor] 14 NOV 2014 a las 15:12
For you and anyone else who may be concerned about it, I've asked KSH to make an official statement on the matter and when the thread is made, I shall post it here as a reply.
Shaostoul  [autor] 14 NOV 2014 a las 15:05
Figured I'd look it up, just in case, most of the conversations ended moving to Steam chat and for some reason Steam no longer keeps chat logs? I was unaware of this.
Shaostoul  [autor] 14 NOV 2014 a las 14:59
This was before Space Engineers introduced Steam Workshop support for mods if I recall correctly.
Shaostoul  [autor] 14 NOV 2014 a las 14:58
Keen has stated they're okay with it. I had a discussion with several of the moderators regarding it. I could dredge up the old posts about it (if they're still around) if it'd make you feel better.
