@Krizalid , now that you mentioned about an addon to stagger, yes, that can also become the cause. That addon is triggered when special infected deals damage to a survivor. & if that is used together with this mod & then the fire is spawned, it's not strange to keep staggering in fire because the fire damage is registered to spitter. So, you can try to disable that stagger addon & check if you still stagger when fire is spawned after laser beam.

Okay, so after thinking about it, this particular issue may or may not be caused by an addon that gives the SI the ability to stagger you when hitting you heheh. Sorry for the trouble

@Krizalid , I checked the fire, & there's no stumble script there. If it's about the movement-lock when she's shooting laser beam that directly hits a survivor, that's one of effects of the laser beam, so once the movement is frozen for few miliseconds, that indicates a guaranted laser hit, so that's why players need to keep moving or shoot from behind a cover (door, wall etc) to prevent spitter from looking at them more than one second before using laser beam. That way, the laser beam will miss.
As for the movement lock when fire is spawned after explosion, that usually lasts only for less than one second, so you need to keep holding any movement buttons to escape immediately before the fire spreads wider.

Maybe i'm not getting it, but i meant like i wanna turn off the stumbling that's caused by the fire that comes after the explosion. It's annoying because it stun-locks me

@Krizalid , it's probably the stumble effect from the explosion, not from the shockwave. The stumble effect controlled by "Allow Stumble On Blast" is only for the shockwave, while the stumble effect from explosion comes only when a player is too close to the explosion (like when a propane tank explodes too close). The stumble effect from explosion can only be avoided by staying farther from explosion, or taking cover before explosion shows up, while the stumble from shockwave will bypass obstacles (taking cover is meaningless).

Yeah, i set it on 0 and it still doesn't work, at least for me
kurochama  [author] 5 Jun @ 2:54pm
@Krizalid , did "Allow Stumble On Blast" also not work?

How do i turn off the stupid stumbling whenever i get hit by the fire? It won't turn off regardless of the settings, and it's extremely annoying

Good:steamhappy:
And what do you think of a tank that throws a rock that pushes the survivors, pushing them little further than when it hits them?
If you can and want to do it
