Austin Class with Helicopters

I have no clue how this Mod could interact with Carriers, the only files i edited are the Files for the Austin Class.
The slow Aircraft on Carriers i had too, that was always just the first plane and i haven't noticed it since i'm using the Airdeck Operations Upgrade mod.

Conflicts with other Mods are possible if they modify one of the Austin Class files

animations_usn_lpd_austin.ini

I look at the mod and check if the Developers changed somethin i overlooked.

For some reason this mod makes planes taxi extremely slow on carriers. The only way I could get it to work was to put it above almost all of the other mods but then my planes were indicating 1kt while taxiing but it felt like they were going a lot slower. It took them minutes just to get onto the elevator to go up to the flight deck

If you want to solve it while in game just open the debug menu with F10 and then select spawn, toggle to helicopters on the top right. Find the helicopter that you want and then make sure the spawn is on camera and not world at the center top. Then free cam to the side of the ship and spawn it. You might need to rebase the helicopter to land at the ship. That's the easiest way if a ship spawns into the game without the correct helicopter or planes and it doesn't break the triggers in the mission as long as you don't replace key vehicles

Played around a bit with it. Must be some conflict with another mod. If you load it as one of your first mods after the compulsory ones seems to have resolved it.

If you create a scenario with the vessels in the Mod I found that it does not open the flight deck menu for you to be able to select the helicopters you want on board. In contrast if you for example place a Tarawa in a scenario immediately the flight deck menu pops up as a sub menu for you to select the onboard complement. Solving it is way above my pay grade.

Mod is installed and active, but I'm also not seeing any helos on the Austin class. Is it supposed to just replace the normal Austin-class or is it in another folder somewhere?

For everyone that wants to change the Loadout
The Ship supports SH-2F, SH-3H, CH-46, AH-1T every other Helo/Harrier/etc. has to be added to the usn_lpd_austin.ini

Default is the Squadron followed by the Number of Helos, you can combine up to 8 however you like, just add the line. For more change the usn_lpd_austin.ini AircraftCapacity

usn_sh-2f=Default,2
usn_sh-3h=Default,2
usn_ch-46=Default,2
usmc_ah-1t=Default,2

How to add the Supported Helos see the Post below.

You can do it yourself, if you want to try
go to "\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220\3403995350\vessels"
open usn_lpd_austin_variants.ini with a Text editor of your Choice and add to the Variants you want to have the CH-46 on.

@Daywalker1986: Switched to Beta now. Had isseus with Beta brachens in other games where save games were not compatible. But as we cannot save in Sea Power.... :) Thx for your mod!

@Daywalker1986: I use the normal version. Unsubscribing and subscribing did not work. I guess you use something in the Mod that is not available in the normal version yet, only in the beta. Guess I have to wait until the next release then.

I just encountered the freezing loading Screen in the normal Version, stable beta branch runs just fine.

Works fine for me, atleast in the latest version.
Maybe if there is a Problem, unsubscribe, make sure the 3403995350 Mod Folder, inside "\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220\" is gone and subscribe again.

Something seems to be broken with the Jan 10 update of this mod. It worked before, but since then when adding an Austin Class to a scenario, the game hangs in the loading screen of the scenario.
