Any time I tried adding new weapons or enemies the map would literally refuse to compile or the compiler would crash.
That’s why a lot of mods that change the campaign will split The Package into two separate levels - I don’t really know how to do that so I just left it pretty barebones.
For direct hits though honestly its a great touch to actually have your character flinch as such. Like I said overall yea bravo you did a good mod, just letting you know from an outsider's view that you added some real divisive choices that can alienate popularity or even actual playability for some people with motion sickness and still look forward to any future work, keep it up and make it how you want, just feedback to consider is all.
The HUD effects are to disorientate the player and simulate being suppressed by enemy fire/explosions, not because of any sci-fi magic about electromagnetism. Purely to handicap the player and make them play more carefully.
I’m glad you like the mod and I would like to get around to making mods of a similar feel for Halo 1, 2, and 3 and those ones will be 1st person.
I do have one 1st person version of Trooper Firefight on the workshop but it’s just 1 map and more of a demo.
I get it mod author, this is your personal take on the game, but really wish there was an option for 1st/3rd camera most of all and for any of your future projects. I love the increased range the AI has, love the added weapons and their projectile speed changes, Revenant actually is a reasonable threat now that its charge flies faster than a balloon, warthog driving is a bit too low-gravity/flippy, but can live with that, an objectively fun mod but definitely missed the mark for "play feel" due to cam issues and some physics.
I’d like to do custom campaigns where you play as Non-Spartans but that is way down the line.

Mainly just the faster paced, brutal combat, tuned up AI, and custom sound FX. They will most likely stay 1st person.
That and some weapons like the sniper feel nigh-useless since enemy suppression is so aggressive and their range is so long you don't even really get a range advantage. Not to mention Covenant weapons being fairly useless too. I get that they wouldn't really be connected to your spartan's hud, but I think just a crosshair would be fine and the ammo can still be hidden
It would also be nice, if you turned off the dropships fucking turret on Lone Wolf. Pretty sure I remember in Halo Reach, NOBLE 6 is killed by a bunch of Elites, not being cross mapped by 7 different fucking dropship turrets within seconds on the Easy Difficulty.
Oh yeah, another thing, is that the players armor attachments don't appear in game. The helmet and colors work, but I don't think any other attachments the player has work.
