Can't get it to work with UBE though for some reason unfortunately, even if I load it last.
Implementing a "keep 5 m off sea floor" feature would be amazing. I have scraped the barnicals off the hull my uboat so many times it shines. I get it. Modding for free and getting nothing but complaints would burn out anybody. I want you to know that there are many of us who love your work. Thank you.
Most likely not before the end of this year.
The rest depends on whether 2025.2 revives my interest in (modding) this game.
Sorry!
I hadn't thought about that, that's a good idea. I'll put it on the list, though I'm currently not able to actively work on it, so it might take a while until I'll add that. Thank you for the suggestion.
@LAntorcha Numpad keys sound like a good idea. I'm working on config sheet that allows you to change the keybinds easier, but I'm too busy to make it a priority right now.
Also, I believe DaX is refering to Voice Attack [voiceattack.com]. You can define macros and have them trigger by voice command, e.g. making it so saying "course 5 degrees port" maps to "CTRL + Left Arrow".
@DaX please can you explain more the Voice Commands thing?
Thanks for creating this addon btw.
So there's a good chance this change went past you if you were one of the early adopters . ;)

Look for KeyCode.[KEY] and change the [KEY] to whatever you prefer.
But you reminded me I wanted to include a keybind config file and just forgot. Oops. I'll try to remember to include one in the next update.
If you're asking about the dive schedule: This mod currently doesn't touch that. I want to have an alternative dive schedule hat has the boat dive deeper than just periscope depth.
But until I figure out how to make that toggle-able instead overwriting the native dive schedule depth, that feature won't make it into this mod just yet.
In a way, it would already be dangerous when going too fast, since you'd risk crashing into the sea floor.
That feature is not a priority, so I haven't thought about the how a lot.
I have also noticed that it sometimes also doesn't successfully do so even when initiated from the surface. I'll look into what causes this.
The depth shouldn't be different from what it was without the mod.
I'll try to get the config out as soon as possible, so people can more easily change to their preferred layout.
In the meantime, you can change the keybinds yourself in

While I was stingy with comments, I think the code is still somewhat readable.
Personally i think the key to open the compass is pretty useless, specealy whit your mod now.
And one can allways change it to a different key if whanted.
Btw do you know how to change the speed i mean if you can make it possible to change 1 knot ore KM/h at the time.?
I think I'll also include a config file, so people can change the keybindings to their liking.
i would prefer cntr+T upp Contl+G Center contrl+B down
just have one sugestion to have the diveplanes set to center.
There's a bug I cant get around to fixing right now:
If one of the presets is active (surface, deck awash, persicope depth, crash dive, ...), my keyboard shortcuts will not overwrite that. So if you want to use them, make sure to not be in one of those preset modes. I can fix this, just not right this second.
