This is another excellent class mod ! Thanks Viper for spending the time to make all of your classes, this is a quality mod. 10/10 would recommend.

Dear Viper. I tried my best to make your mods works with LWOTC but i can't.
i made a load order in AML trying to find a correct load order.
Edited the dedicated pistol slot 2.0 file to include your moded classes (check img please)

Did a clean installa
Verify game files integrity

But, still goes wrong
Jackal class can equip de Sawed shootgun but in mission doesn't appear for use
Hacker can equip the archthrower but same as jackal class
Jane Kelly land fury Run and gun ability after recieve damage is broken, doesn't activate

I tried my best to find solutions but i'm no modder or codder, just a simple fan.

I hope you can find some kind of fix or solution in the future ant TY a lot for the good classes

Make sure you are using the most current weapons cache. I did fix a bug with the smart rifle a while ago which was not showing the upgraded weapons.

Okay, same model, so i must have some incompatibility because i never saw any upgrades in the workshop or anywhere. I don't bring my hacker to fight, but she sometimes gets left alone and needs to. Late game enemies against such a low damage weapon isn't good.

I'm really confused by what this class is supposed to do. Why is Trojan on your tier 1 tree when you don't have haywire protocol given at Squadee? Also, the trees themselves don't make much sense if you just go up one tree. Why have the ability to increase the chaining ability on the third row when the first row is where the chain ability is? Trojan seems completely useless. I really like what you are trying to do with this class, it's a nice change on the old hacking formula, but the trees really don't make any sense as is stands. In my view, each tree should make sense as a class if you do not deviate from that tree. If you want to, that's fine, but as it stands you basically have to get multiple abilities from the same column to make this class work, and I usually don't allow that in my games to increase the difficulty, which makes for a broken class. If you have time to look this again, please make it make sense :)

i did that, nothing. Maybe this mod? (can also affected verge when i reported soulfire did no damage because in hell knight mode the soulfire did not appear to be functional)

First step would be to clear configs and restart. Use AML and make sure you have all required mods subbed.

@nimn it unlocks with rifle squad upgrades. Same model though, just better stats.

@latis that sounds like a conflicting mod set up.

Is there only one smart rifle? I started a new game since installing this but i haven't gotten research or anything to make better ones.

No luck. I tried resubscribing to this mod and the weapon cache mod. The smart rifle appears to be the only weapon that has this issue. All other weapons like the battle rifle or the psychic shock attacks work just fine.

For sure try unsub / resub to the weapon cache. I had to redo the smart rifle since the ability I made broke and did absurd amounts of damage.

After further testing I cannot reliably recreate the visibility issue. Not sure how that happened. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I would ignore that second part for now unless you can recreate it in your own testings. I'll chalk it up to XCOM doing XCOM things.

Not sure if it is the new weapon or the class, but there doesn't appear to be any ability to shoot the smart rifle. I can overwatch, but that is all.

Also noticed that if I save and then load again later while in a battle, all targeting for all units is broken. Enemies clearly visible cannot be shot until they move from their spot. This only happens if I have a hacker in the squad and only since the addition of the smart rifle. I haven't 100% pinned it down to the new weapon, but that seems to be the only recent change.

UPDATE: Now uses the Smart Rifle from my Weapon's Cache mod! No longer requires or needs true primary or smart pistol!!

the Javelin,Scout and Hacker class doesnt allow to change weapons. it stays with the first weapon so no upgrades, for example i have a halo weapons mod. i cant even use those or the base game weapons.

Working on a special weapon for these guys. Since SMART PISTOL is buggy as hell, I am going to create a "smart rifle." Basically will have similar mechanics but be very very different at the same time and exclusive to this class.

UPDATE: FIXED power surge to PROPERLY apply bonus damage scaling with Hack value! After many trial and error attempts, I got the scripts to function properly :)
Added the rest of the missing gremlin abilities to the pool for power surge to affect.

GTS mastery perks now have a proper supply cost and rank requirement.

this class is officially DONE, and has been added to the viper class pack (coming soon!)

I'll be creating a tutorial how to make the pistol slot and stuff work in lwotc. Let me finish porting these classes over to my class pack and finish the 3 more classes, then I'll post a discussions on the class pack with all the relevant information!

Hi Viper. I can't make the Archtrower work. also i don't under stand how the pistol works.

i use TPS but when i put the AC in the pistol slot doesn't appears in the game. The pistol also has an horrendous aim, what i'm doing wrong?

I check the files and see the .cfg and see if i had to edit or add something but i seems is everything ok.

Yes. It is easily removed in the configs.

I added in a config to make this work with TPS. You can make this work with lwotc. I need to update a discussions tab on how. Im working on the class pack currently so I can just add compatibility / discussions to A SINGLE mod vs 18. Easier to keep track of everything!

Hello. Sorry to bother again , lol . I am using LWOTC + TedJam. LWOTC uses True Primary Secondaries, not Primary Secondaries. [WotC]SmartPistol will not work with TPS, acording to the comments on that mod. Dont know if it would be possible or too difficult make this mod work with LWOTC, but I am throwing things here as a feedback while testing zillions of different mods from different authors from different dimensions. its wip. So far I am going to create 2 super soldier "biotic" classes for Asari. Past that I havent looked. Need to figure out a way to modify the asari character templates without overriding them so that it has full compatibility with the original mod :D fun stuff

On a side note... I use primary secondaries instead of true. True is good if you are using classes that can POTENTIALLY duplicate items. I have no such logic with these and I haven't had that issue... But if you are uses classes besides mine then yes keep using true, if you plan on only using my classes then you are safe with the old primary.

This is after some testing of course. It will most likely duplicate with classes that dual wield secondaries.
