I agree, but I wanted to work around the camping tactics and force people to mobilize and anticipate. Now only 1 sturmtiger will spawn in wave 12, which should be easy to deflect.

Let me know what you guys think of the new balance.

That was the only comlain i had, the sturmtigers that spawn in your base, But if you insists of having sturmtigers, just let them spawn somewhere else so people can use some dodgy ( and fun?) tactics to kill them without to much damage to your defence.

the explosion of a sturmtiger is just a bit to strong to spawn right into your base and sure, we would be able to kill them ( we did in fact.. ) but the wave on its own is hard enough to deal with without having 35% of your troops getting killed by 1 sturmtiger shot.. and not able to rebuild your army because a important building has been blown up.

Sorry that i was a bit late with giving feedback and yes i know that you've changed it now, but just wanted to tell my opinion about sturmtigers:(

I didn't look at this map yet after adding new features. I have some time the following days and I agree that it needs some balancing. Thanks for your feedback.

I played this map with nioneel a few times after the 'wave 12 update'.
Now this map is impossible to beat on hard (don't let me talk about expert).
The sturmtigers will destroy your defense before you can kill them, you also need anti tank units to aim for the road.
I personally don't like the whole idea of the sturmtigers wich spawn in your base at wave 12 to destroy all your defenses.

I think with the upcoming AOD update, it will be hard enough, even without the sturmtigers.

I agree Nioneel. The transition between the waves is a bit off. What do you guys think of trying hard difficulty Rails and Metal with us? I want to test it properly but basically, where do I find the time and the players...? ANd I mean good players...You guys would be perfect to help us with that.

it would be fun to play the same map again while it feels that it plays so much different.

This is my experience so far with the map:
with how we are playing the map the waves between 5 and 10 feels pretty weak while the transition between wave 9 and 10 is almost impossible without the PAK43 AT-gun and even with that its almost impossible (atleast how we played it..thats the most important reason why we choose that commander ).
But if you can survive wave 5, you probably will survive the next 3/4 waves because they are only infantry and light vehicles ( we already had AT-infantry so the light vehicles were a joke and you will probably build more AT between wave 5 and 10 )

The strange part is that we had the most trouble with wave 5 and 10, wave 12 was only hard because of all the extra adds that spawn, and of all the spawns the katyusha was the only one that was feared.

Maybe in a future map you can create a map in which it isnt possible to get into the same territory because we really abused the command tank system (we only needed one because we stayed in the same territory and thanks to that we managed to save resources ) and it won't feel such a clusterf*ck with all the AT and infantry on the same place.

Anyway the map/mod was great^^ can't wait for the next map!

A lot of trying different things xD
Different commanders, units, ways to capture the points, wich units NOT to kill by infantery and a hell of other stuff.

In the description it said that we had to let ppl know if someone beat the hardest.
So, after 3 days of trying expert, we managed to beat them (plz make it harder).

Yes it is possible to finish hard. You'll need a lot of AT though.

Me and a friend are trying various things, but we always lose at the panthers wave.

Dude, World war 2 warcraft 3 tower defense was the best invention anyone has come up with. Thank you so much, please make more maps, these havent gotten old or anything yet, but i would love more maps, and maybe a dday defense the beachhead wave invasion, please keep doing what youre doing!

I like this map and his gameplay mode. But i think AOD can be more powerful in a more big map with more player, next map, more big please! :D And with more player! ;)

Yes it works with any faction, and you need the Art of Defence victory condition mod. You can pick your own tuning pack if you'd like.

Try updating your workshop items. Go to Workshop in the main menu in CoH2 and click the round button on the top right of the list.
