I have a question.
Sometimes, many common infected die in one place, causing my FPS to suffer when several of their bodies accumulate in one place.
Is this common in this 2.0 version, or would one of the other versions of the same mod help me solve my problem?
I imagine it must be complicated, as you say.
And it's understandable that you say that.
Hopefully, there will eventually be a 3.0 version of this mod.
Above all, that problem with the bodies not floating and the other thing about when the infected die and they seem to still be wobbling, well... I find that funny and I like it xD
Since this happens to some and not all of the normal infected,
I think they're still alive and still writhing in pain or something like that xD
all credit goes to Kesserd092 for the physics he did say to me he is working on a new version of his bodycams mod so that will be cool.
I myself have been working on a new version of this mod just for special infected but i am on and off of it i know people have been asking, but qc editing (physics data) sucks balls de-compile and re-compile is driving me nuts and its really time consuming so in time i will update this mod.
I've added this addon to the Tacticam Addon Collection. Check it out here: Tacticam
Thank you very much for the clarification, too.
At first, I didn't understand what you meant when you said "what @Versus said below me?" Then I read the comment Versus posted and understood 😅😂 (I thought you were referring to the game's Versus mode 🤣)
And let me tell you, your physics mod is the best I've seen (especially when you shoot the infected in the head and they do a somersault, making it even more realistic). As you say, it "could be fixed" by editing the ragdoll meshes, and @Kesserd092 knows about that.
Perhaps in a future version or update of this magnificent mod, Kesserd092 can do that? 🤔
Regarding the infected's staggering when they die, it doesn't bother me at all (since I pretend they're still alive and writhing in pain 😅), but regarding them not floating, well... I'm a bit unhappy about it, and I think that should be fixed in a future update or version of the mod (of course... if it can be done).
Thank you very much for the clarification
1. what versus said below me, My convar alters in game gravity, I have tested a version with a heavier ragdoll but a default gravity settings but with this struggle effect when they float on water they do not stop moving it looks really weird.
2. The way they struggle correlates to there joints so they might be in a position that cause there
joint rotation to glitch, sometimes when they are on top each other they wont stop moving in the collision version they move alot more then normal in the none collision version they barely do it. but you could say it a like a bug i don't think its possible to fix unless you edit the mesh of the ragdoll maybe. Kesserd may know more about it.
I have two questions:
1- Is it normal that when killing a normal infected in water, it doesn't float to the surface and instead of floating to the surface (as would normally be the case), it sinks to the bottom of the water and doesn't float to the surface? Also, can this be fixed? I really like these physics, but I noticed that small problem.
2- Is it normal that after killing normal infected, they wobble after being dead?
Literally, once dead, their bodies move as if they were bugged.
Try the extreme version
I don't believe versus has done anything wrong he did credit kesserd in his ported version. I know kesserd just ask for credit. Its even part of his license agreement for his mods.

I don't think kesserd cares.
