Yes it is possible to make them follow the player, but personally I think it would kill the Multiplayer experience.
Anyway, its a great mod & thanks a lot

Once that's done, press Enter. Next is to start the level that is not the intro one.
Once you're loaded in the level, press ESC to go to the main menu. At the bottom left you'll see a bar saying "F3 Cheats"
Press F3 on your keyboard or just select it with your mouse. Once clicked on, you'll be put to the game's pause menu and there you'll see Spawn Coop NPC. Click on that and choose which character you want to spawn in. Double click on the character's name and it should spawn in.
