You can feed the NPC food props (melons, oranges, bananas) by holding them in front of the NPC, which should reduce how much it dislikes you. It can also calm down slowly over time, but how long it takes depends on how much damage has been done to the NPC. I plan to adjust it a bit to make it a bit easier to lower the threat level
