[GTG]Massive Cargo Trader

@The Phasmid : This is how the trader ship works: trade ships always initially bring 300 to 600 stock of Cloth. Then, they select few types from all textile categories (including Cloth itself) to sell in large quantities. If you have many mods adding new textile types, Cloth might get pushed out when the game picks which textiles to sell in bulk. This results in the trade ship only carrying the initial guaranteed minimum of a few hundred stock of Cloth.

@MrCSG : If you're using a mod that visually displays trader ship cargo (like this Trader Ship Crash mod), this is literally the worst-case scenario. A massive amount of goods gets scattered directly on the ground. Unfortunately, I have no control over the spawning of this trader ship crash event since it comes from another mod.

Hi :) Love the mods. Been using Orbital Traders for a long time, but just picked up this Massive one. Is there a reason that cloth is always only at 500 stock and not more? Or is this just a bug on my end?

Thank for mods, but when Trader Crashed Ship ([GTG]Massive Cargo Trader Ship) event it drop too many item.

@Thrice : Well... actually, this confusing "gtg" is an abbreviation. The full name is Galaxy Trade Group. It's a large-scale, trade-focused mod I planned to implement as a faction, but due to constraints on my time and energy, currently I'm only able to present it in a simplified version as orbital traders.
Teiwaz  [author] 28 Jun @ 12:29pm
@Vox Krynn : The spawn probability of GTG trader hasn't been adjusted separately, so it remains at the default value. Theoretically, it should be identical to other traders, but based on your feedback, the actual situation differs significantly. Perhaps I should take the initiative to adjust the spawn probability of these traders.
Thrice 25 Jun @ 2:21pm
Ok, probably a stupid question, but I gotta ask. What does GTG stand for?
Anny 24 Jun @ 3:21pm
This is what I need. Just one simple life hack mod like this
Vox Krynn 22 Jun @ 2:12pm
What are the chances of the GTG trader coming? I have had a colony up for many in game years and never got one of the massive traders. I have gotten nearly all other types just not this one.

Absolute hero for the update to 1.6
D9sinc 20 Jun @ 2:22am
Bless you for the 1.6 update.

Sold 380000 worth of components and only received 200000, tested it several time and it seems the trader can not send over about 200k silver. Bought 100k steel and received 28k.

@Teiwaz I figured it out. Could not find any mod conflict. Turns out I didn't have orbital trade beacons everywhere they should be. I'm still a noob at the game, lol. It works great now, thanks!
Levardio 9 Mar @ 10:40pm
@Teiwaz yay, thank you!
Teiwaz  [author] 9 Mar @ 7:29am
@Levardio : Thank you for your feedback. The compatibility patch with VCE has been updated.
Teiwaz  [author] 9 Mar @ 7:28am
@Raving Bob : The massive cargo trader in my testing normally purchases wool and leather. However, based on your feedback, there does seem to be an issue. It might be caused by other mods modifying wool and leather properties, preventing normal transactions. Could you try disabling potential conflicting mods and test with only this mod enabled to see if the problem persists?
Levardio 8 Mar @ 8:34am
for some reason "digestible ressurector nanites" from VCE dont stack in a single row in the trading menu, bloating it with tens of rows of 10-stacks of them
Raving Bob 1 Mar @ 5:43pm
I've had the trader come to my base twice, but each time all it wants to buy is my animals. It doesn't want to buy my overstocked wools, leathers, and such. Does it take time or is it a bug?

Adding this anyway even though that all hands on deck Horder trader notification

Because, super bulk Costco trader ftw and hey chat, what’s the actual opinion on ✨game breaking✨ merchant mechanics where yes I would like to sell all the trash (including all the trash) that we have stockpiled from endless Cassandra raids? The cycle of raid, strip the goods and skins meats and bones from their corpses, sell all the trash doesn’t do it for some RW players? How else are you supposed to get OP to survive all the raids?
Aderod 26 Feb @ 12:21pm
So, Trade Federation Lucrehulk arrive to Rimworld? It will be nice to sell everything at once, instead of waiting for specialist traders or buy things in "true" bulk.

godlike
deadmanreaper13 25 Feb @ 3:40am
ya know, seeing the title made me think 'Massive Cargo' meant large items, not bulk items, and now im wishing there was a trader that sold cars from the various vehicle mods.
Gigglybug75 23 Feb @ 3:27am
Wow, it's so unbalanced that you don't have the trader sell the entire Archotech Spore from SOS2. Pls fix, nerfed too hard.

Kidding. Seriously, good mod, I always get annoyed with how little the "bulk goods" traders carry.
Teiwaz  [author] 22 Feb @ 10:33pm
@猫雷Kiss : For mods that only adjust the frequency of orbital trader visits, trade prices, or the quantity of goods, there should generally be no issues. However, mods that fundamentally alter the mechanics of orbital traders - such as those implementing a more intuitive visual presentation of goods instead of displaying them as numerical values in the trade window, or similar modifications - may experience game lag or crashes when handling such a large volume of goods.
As shown in the images from the mod description above, this mod's orbital traders carry tens of millions of silver, millions of plasteel, gold, uranium, etc, and tens of thousands of meals.
Teiwaz  [author] 22 Feb @ 10:22pm
@gizmoraynor : If SOS2 does not present the orbital trader's massive quantities of goods in a visually intuitive manner (unlike the numerical representation in the trade window), thereby causing game lag or crashes, then the two mods should be compatible.
猫雷Kiss 22 Feb @ 9:08pm
Will this be compatible with other mods that modify orbital trader?
Also you said Massive. So specifically how much money would these traders have available to trade?
gizmoraynor 22 Feb @ 8:14pm
does this work with SOS2?
אַבְרָהָם 22 Feb @ 5:30pm
you know what else is massive
Realm Imp 22 Feb @ 8:00am
This is G. Awesome mod
Latex Santa 22 Feb @ 4:54am
God bless you. I always have such a heck of a time trying to dump stock and clear my inventory, especially weapons and clothing (repaired loot from raids). This is going in my Base Mods list.
Ryu Yokaze 22 Feb @ 1:12am
I'll take this, Thank you.
Liquid Bear 22 Feb @ 12:27am
