sounds like a bug but i don't have enough info here
armadillo uses the vanilla rangers' body armor, and it should appear correctly
do you have any other mods enabled?

Alex is a swiss army knife you can find in the credits of most major mods at this point.

Amazing mod! My respect for the narrative quality - I read it and enjoyed the atmosphere 😁 The gameplay is also great - a mix of SWAT with elements of Rangers and CIA methodologies 🔥

subscribe to & download mod
open the game
click on a button in the bottom right corner of main menu
the button reads Mods when hovered over, and it opens the ingame mod manager
enable armadillo
restart game
make a new armadillo unit; the game doesn't automatically create one for you (also applies to other unit mods)

is it just me, my misunderstanding, or are all the weapons basically worse than the defailt M16 your units get? The shotguns (thank you for adding them) aside, of course.

Map, Operation:Midas appears to be broken during evac. The upper left evac is the only one that works. Upon completion, the bottom right evac doesn't do anything. Was this intentional?

Please don't add one plan achievement for HVT capture or gear sabotage maps...It's simply impossible.

It would be interesting if you guys made another PMC which would have a different backstory and different reasons for being contracted into Nowheraki, but with the same great feeling that you get from Armadillo Security Services.

that's a good one; the EVOLYS is kinda bugged rn ig
it uses the exact same stats as the LICC carbine

Any possibility to add the suppression action to the EVOLYS, and maybe a 7.62x51 version (or a M240), since the PMCs don't have any .308 MMGs? I would ask if you could add the suppression module to all guns, given I only rock assaulters most of the time, but I don't know if that'd cause balancing issues with the mod.

Thank you, that worked. The squad was restored but there was something different though, missing weapons and stuff. I decided to retire them and work on a new squad instead. It's only right that they get to bring home their medals instead of leaving them in the sand

short answer: create a new unit
slightly longer answer: go to roster.xml and update the class names
this will allow you to preserve ur current unit and progress

and an explanation ig
i did an update to tidy up the backend, and the class names were changed as part of said update
new class names are:
dillo_class_supervisor
dillo_class_facil
dillo_class_grunt

you can find them in this directory: \steamapps\workshop\content\1239080\3441851058\units\dillo_unit.xml

All of a sudden my top squad got all the profiles blacked out. When I managed to get into one by accident, I saw that he was at level 99, but had zero stats, then the whole game crashed when I tried to go to the next profile. Is this team salvageable or do I have to start anew with a new squad? Also, what caused the error and is there anything I can do to avoid it?

Im probably going to add a Kel-Tec KSG. We'll wait and see if it's possible to lock the mission packs. If not I'll add gilded as a pack so you can play CO-OP (Though campaign is the preferred experience)

i'll probably re-add the M500 and the M1014
tho i'll most likely lock the M1014 behind BH

if i do add gilded shadow as single missions, i want to lock it behind clearing the campaign first ngl
but i don't think it's possible to implement this rn :(

the mod is pretty cool, but do you think you'll ever add any shotguns? So many faction mods around and they all take shotguns away from you. A shame

Yes, thanks for quick response. If anyone has the update and then its the same XML error, unsub and resub the mod again to force re download, and for sake of it exit steam and then go back in. This then worked for me, all ok. Just a steam thing.

Getting and XML error when I load this now, dillo_head_attachments.xml .... helmet, I removed all mods and only load this one and instant Kernel log.ccp error.

got something. on the map Disposable, the room full of matresses on the right with the 2 doors. the lower door doesnt seem to excist, its not shown if one hovers the curser over it and operators walk right through
