you were always able to get radzigs sword to level 4, i did it without mods at launch. the reason this mod exists is because it gets switched to level 3 when it switches to henrys sword and you cant increase it to level 4 at that point. this is why players wouldnt touch the sword until it becomes henrys so they can reforge it to 4.

Slurp - So it's in the base game now? Before it wasn't possible to get it to H level no matter what you did, which is why it's one of the top mods. But it it's been fixed, that would be awesome.

radzig's sword can be forged to henry quality without mods! i did it myself on the first try, i'm not even maxed crafting or anything
just work every inch of the blade, go up the length and then flip and repeat, and do that until it's done

This 100% works without any other mods, focus on heating up the tip for 15 blows, middle for 3, and base of the blade by only 2 and quickly move to bench. Hit the base for 3 hits, middle for at least 6 or 7 (most important) and tip for another 3. flip and repeat until done. For some reason the middle is important. Thank you for this mod!

if u have problems with crafting it try using the mod that makes mistakes not affect quality, i know there's one on nexus idk if there's one on workshop though

Definitely something is going wrong. Perfect crafting, level 30 skill, still only L3. That said, thanks for your work on it.

I have tried 5 times and didnt get Master quality. Every other item i craft get easily master quality so there is something wrong with this

So... craftmanship at 30 with 4 bonus, sword is straw-coloured after heating, henry´s wistling during the strikes, turning the rawling from time to time... but still getting swords everywhere between silver and gold quality, but still no MJ-Quality... i´ve been trying for an hour now and I´m done at this point. Idk what the fuck I´m doing wrong...

I have just installed the mod and tried it out.

I had the instructions available straight away, but it took me several attempts to get it to the highest quality - so it really is doable with a bit of skill and patience.

I made like 10 of these swords and I can do everything perfect but it just keeps saying oops I did something wrong and then its lvl 2 not even level 3. Henry sings the entire time I forge but it always ends up with lvl 2. Everything else I make is 100% lvl 4 quality...

Scratch that, it worked on the 3rd time, no idea what I did wrong lol.

Getting tier 4 on everything bar this sword, doesnt work for me, even with a henrys QF potion.

You can reforge Radzig's Sword to Martin level after the closing quests of the game when its renamed Henry's Sword. You must have Martin's Secret perk in Craftsmanship at level 16.

if you guys are struggling with the crafting mini game there's a mod on nexus mods that make it easier to constantly hit tier 4

i was able to craft a tier 4 one after the update and there is no console command or even Lua function that lets u choose an item's quality when u spawn it. u have to craft it.

Like the two guys below mentioned, something happened that is just borking the Tier 4 sword craft or console command.

i can craft the sword but I have made 10 of these and it wont make the tier 4 master version

yes i have the perk and when i make anything else i get tier 4 master

after the patch update it took away my duplicate sword that i made tier 4 and i cant spawn another one. the code doesnt seem to work. i wonder if the devs did something that prevents messing with the sword with the devcheats or mods.

@leviwinter2 I couldn't find any recent official statements on google or any official statements for that matter. Are you sure? I just really don't want a single mod to break my game; either with achievements or add more buggs to the game :(

you unlock the recipe that the mod adds at the same time you unlock the default one. spoiler: it's when you get the sword back from istvan at the end of the quest "Storm"

it shows in the description (4th pic) there is an added option when you go to forge the sword, prob need a high craftsmanship skill

Is it because it's a quest item for sure? The saber quest item and the axe quest item allow Tier 4 forging. Guess I'll grab this for the thrird playthrough, too late to go back now

you can but it'll be tier 3 if you do that, defeating the point. you can't specify a quality when spawning an item so you will need to craft it yourself.

you need the martin's secret perk and you need to use the new recipe added by this mod, not the existing one. it is then possible to get a tier 4 version of the sword
