Ah well my suggestion would be to possibly combine some of the trees to make the need to focus one group much less than current. Or to at least make a universal tree for skills that you'd expect every unit to have. for universal id think more to aiming times and time to bring the gun back to position after being blocked(like when you hug walls to tightly). meanwhile you have a skill in two separate groups that could instead be added to a singular tree that affects both groups for a singular doctrine point.

cool mod, one problem (just a small bug, no pressure to fix it). when one of the "placeholder" guys reloads, I get an error message saying it cant reload and the game crashes. It says the mag is not an entity in the files

sick mod honestly, very few mods are doing something THIS in-depth lore-wise to THIS much excess of full on scp/anomalous levels of carnage and fun gimmick ideas

i just made another decision to rework the gears, hopefully this time will be more proper and actually useful, less bloat, unlike currently where i just make every possible thing there is to test out the mod system(sorry, its a big learning progress, i think i have reached the limit of the modding framework)
Imma replace everything with grenades of different kinds, to cover 100% needs for every situation, since almost everyone just use a nice frag/flash/smoke to clear map anyway.
Imma also turn the newly added "bots" into actual units this time so they can have actual human like behaviour(still expendable)
And i will add a (few)drones to replace those bots. This drone will act and look like a real drone now instead of the current - humanoid robot copycats.

🤣 lol, i promise i will rework the descriptions with proper "how to use" guide and videos later so u guys and track the changes going on. The most annoying things i had to dealt with the new items were the in session deploy units, the game just don't treat them as human which make them unable to run, to hide, which is booooring

i gotcha. I remember going through and testing all the new stuff you had and im like oh this seems alittle more powerful. was on an apartment mission. stacked everyone up and im like alright its go time. popped it and watched as every wall was just gone and im like.. oops.

Done, reduced ring's usage count to 1, lol XD, idk if its the right choice or not, but i think its fine. You have to take cover and prepare a lot of gun man to survive the aftermath of the explosion, if the map have too many enemies then they can still shoot you back quite easily XD

💀 oh shit yeah i forgot to nerf ring's breach a bit, but yeahhhh its kinda like a nuke, it can't kill everyone on the map, however, it only kill the first layer after the explosion, everyone else behind a wall is safe....wait imma reduce the usage count now, haha.
previously someone said to me that ring's breach is kinda boring so i just buffed the hell outta it, lol

Still the best mod on this game. Hope all goes well and I hope if you come back to work on it, either the developers update to make mod support way easier for you guys, or you learn new stuff that makes it easier on you. Idk man. Loving it tho! I feel like Ring's breach set is a bit OP. Its more of a small nuke haha!

Gonna drop an update in about a week to add new weapons and gears—just enough to make the mod playable so I can handle balancing and modeling side by side. The .khm plugin's been a pain, and since Blender ain’t working with it, I basically gotta learn 3ds Max from scratch 💀
But yeah, gimme a few days and y’all will have some new toys to mess with while I work on making the mod feels unique

I've been looking at this mod and I want to try it out, based off the looks of the troops. Zero Hour has caught my attention, and I want to style something similar to it, so this mod looks like a great start!
