I recently made a custom optimised model with a little less polycount than HLA's Antlion at minimal quality loss. No clue if that's low enough to stop the decal crash (guessing probably not.)
I can forward that model and a few fixes like IK animation and gibs (probably gonna remake them at some point later too.)

I think I found a solution, put "$nodecal 1" to all vmts on materials so the game won't crashed

I found a bug Antlions don't have Episodic animations, like from Ep2 vortigaunt scene in the first chapter

To me when I was in heavy combat and my Antlions died, I barely noticed the gibs were not updated basically not noticeable unless you look at them all the time.

That's done with shaders so no, whats holding me up is the rigs for them, no vertex groups gets exported from the usd's into blender but ill give them another try later. Right now I want a break lol

I know whats wrong its the UV's but to me its not worth the effort to fix every single one they also have like 3+ different versions for each size so i rather not. If somebody else dose it then they can. Sorry
