I thought LAMBS AI was already disabled. No plans to add anything else, not really modding these days.

A few questions:

-Any plans to add support for GX-Drones mod?
-Any plans to disable LAMBS ai on drones?
-Would this mod work with / a compat be made for Crows electronic warfare mod?

That would be a lot of work, it probably won't happen.

I don't want to randomize drones because I often assign differing types dependent on the OPFOR. There were originally backpack jammers in this mod, but I took them out as it was another looping script with only occasional use. The readme covers how to turn any object into a jammer.

This mod won't launch miniharpies, the module in my artillery mod is still required for that.

Wont there be any conflicts with your artillery mod? Can this mod even use the mini harpys? What do I do with the modules from your artillery mod now?

I've been testing this mod and it is pretty amazing. Would like to request a SOFT dependency for the supported drone mods so it can randomly load in and replace drones with DLC/cDLC/Drongo/Darkball and edited drones into inventory for UAV Operators. This would make current missions with generic UAV operators more useful without editing to be drone mod specific.

Would like to also consider ANTI Drone support to randomly load in jammers and detectors from EW, EW Redux and Bulat UAV detector to perhaps Engineer class

Would it be possible to add some kind of mechanism to allow drones to perform small resupply missions? Something like a small inventory for a few magazines, water, bandages, etc for a small unit

I'll look at adding more drones in a future update. I also might add a module to re-enable the jammer backpacks that were in the RC.

Would it be possible to make tactical pings visible to other players while using drones? Currently only the operator of the drone can see the ping.

I was thinking, is it possible to have the AI use the AI artillery/mortars if on the map with this mod and your Artillery mod? Or is that inbuilt?

In real combat situation it uses about 2-3 drone to take a tank. Also only less 10 percent of drones hit the target successfully.

It seems the CBA Setting only properly shows up when actively in a mission, not when in the editor.

I apologize if the answer is obvious or has been answered already, but because the script runs naturally once a map has been loaded with units, would this also mean that the units should also be able to deploy drones if spawned via ALivE? Cause that shit would make things 1000x more dope for me if so.

Sync the module to any group member. Any targets known by friendly groups in range will be shared with the leader of the synced group.

Loading just this and CBA it seems there is no CBA Settings that can be tweaked (though I'm sure there use to be) anymore.

Is there any particular way to set up spotters, should they be the group leader and everyone else is a drone operator or should everyone be in a seperate group and the drone operators are synced to the infoshare module

They will deploy recon drones as soon as there are no other recon drones within the exclusion radius of the unit.

When does the AI deploy the recon drones, I've tried all sorts of combinations but they never seem to deploy them, neither the AR-2s on the back or the RC-40 Scouts from the inventory. FPV and HE drones seem all fine once they get intel on the enemy units.

Depends on the type, AT vehicles only attack vehicles in the armour threshold, others will attack infantry just fine.

AI are responsive to vehicles, but don't seem to be launching drones against infantry anymore. That is referring to both the CROCUS AP and RC-40HE drones.

for those asking about antistasi compatability, it kind of works, i recommend only using civilian and your own factions vehicles as your own drones from ai squads seem to hit vehicles that you capture every so often, even with friendly units inside the target vehicle. may be easier to just not use this mod with antistasi as drones are precious and in short supply anyway, best not to waste them

interesting drongo, im playing a antistasi run and they deploy the mini RC-HE drones through their gl even though they don't have a drone control terminal. quite comical to see them fly into enemy troops:steamhappy:

No, the scripts will only start if a drone is in the inventory of an AI.
