You would need to reduce the size of your shoes a little, they are too big, it looks like you have big feet.

this mod is honestly one of if not the best shoe mod for build 42, hope we get more vanilla like shoes and maybe a few visual improvements to the current ones we have like making them slightly less blurry. overall this mod is great alternative to boots expanded and much better fitting for modded clothing! thank you for this amazing mod it makes build 42 that much better

No problem Peter, have a great holiday and thank you very much for this wonderful mod

Also tombs body compatibility is happening and as soon as possible
Peter  [author] 18 Apr @ 8:49am
@Katora Noku haven't tested at all authentic z totally forgot about it and VCE I need to look more into it cause it does weird things with dropped on the ground shoes. Unfortunately I'm away on holiday untill after easter so no development untill tuesday-ish.

Authentic Z adds some shoes and sneakers, as well as vanilla clothing expansion, any plans to add compatibility? No pressure, of course.

Thank you for the mod!

hey peta

@Peter
Okay, you're right. I've gotten so used to the Tombs Player Body modification that I've forgotten about it. Of the many I've tried, this one is the best. It would be very nice if you would make (if you don't mind) support with your modification. Thank you.
Katora Noku 13 Apr @ 8:00pm
@Peter, Tombs will be aweasome! :D
Prinny Pringer-X 12 Apr @ 11:42am
@Peter Agree on Tombs compatibility
Lima 11 Apr @ 5:50pm
@Peter, Tombs will be nice =")

@Avihs158 This is a big maybe, if more people want it why not. For now priority is polishing and actually finishing the mod.
Avihs158 11 Apr @ 11:53am
I been looking for a mod like this for a while, thank you. Will future patches include tombs body compatability?
Peter  [author] 10 Apr @ 11:14pm
@magond You are not 100% wrong, a lot of shoe mods give the impression that the shoes are oversized for the character or make them look like clown shoes, unfortunately zomboid characters have weirdly shaped feet and to avoid clipping issues they need to be larger then the feet.
magond 10 Apr @ 11:03pm
@Peter, Ok. Thank you for the clarification.
Peter  [author] 10 Apr @ 10:56pm
@magond Firstly, another person replied to your first comment, not me. Secondly, you are using a heavily modified character model, a body mod, Tomb's Player Body Overhaul being the mod that you are displaying in the screenshots. That mod heavily modifies the feet and legs resulting in bad "compatibility" with other shoe mods.
magond 10 Apr @ 3:25pm
@Peter , You've made it so that the character now wears shoes a few sizes larger. If you don't see that, it's not "issue on me end". :-)

@RectedDesert TIS did major changes to lighting and to how the character's field of view works for B42. Unfortunately didn't get to work anything for the mod today, all I know so far is that there is a problem with my models since vanilla shoes or other modded clothing don't have this issue.
ReactedDesert 10 Apr @ 10:21am
@Peter Yeah when they are equipped on a character the left and right shoes have a lighting invert like if i'm standing near a light that's above me and i'm facing east or west the shoe that farther away is brighter than the one that closer to the light I mostly see this one on the sneakers but I saw the other day that the certain modded hair has a weird glow to it sometimes too soo it might just be a engine bug with models

Peter  [author] 9 Apr @ 10:40pm
@Rick Grimes There are some very minor clipping issues on some shoes that need to be fixed, but if the shoes don't fit at all it can be caused by a modified character model or by a another clothing mod that creates masking or overwriting issues
Rachel L 9 Apr @ 4:23pm
Rick, are you using any body mods?
Rick Grimes 9 Apr @ 4:08pm
i can see my feet throuth the shoes is this normal
Prinny Pringer-X 9 Apr @ 12:12pm
@magond Sounds like a issue on your end.
magond 9 Apr @ 11:22am
I tried this modification. Immediately noticed that the shoes look disproportionately large relative to the character.
The character in the game is already short, and with these shoes she visually looks even shorter.
Peter  [author] 9 Apr @ 11:02am
Ok there are 2 shading problems. First one, all of the dropped models get way darker some of them turning completly dark. Second one, when standing still if the character is not facing directly to the camera the shoes turn black, as soon as you move or face the camera they go back to normal. I hope I will have this fixed by tomorrow.
Peter  [author] 9 Apr @ 10:14am
@ReactedDesert when placing them on the ground or when having them equipped on your character?
ReactedDesert 9 Apr @ 9:26am
Idk if you know but there seems to be a lighting bug with some of the shoes getting a weird inverted lighting effect
Lunar Guest 9 Apr @ 7:01am
Thank you, Peter from Peter's Vanilla Shoes Overhaul!
Almahr 8 Apr @ 4:32am
Very good. :steamhappy:
firezollablue 7 Apr @ 7:04am
It looks nice
Abra_Willow 6 Apr @ 3:46pm
looks pretty good
Peter  [author] 5 Apr @ 11:40pm
@Oyeo I did mess around with the combatspeed modifier, I will revert it back to vanilla today since it only affects how fast your character swings his arms
Oyeo 5 Apr @ 11:19pm
Love this mod! Only problem is for some reason the shoes effect my characters swing speed
Rachel L 5 Apr @ 8:36am
Wooo! Finally someone else doing this! Cant wait for the rest of the shoes (boots especially really need some love)
