Amazing mod! Tbh, im all for wilderness challenges but it certainly has its downsides in the long run and one of those was access to farm animals that wont spawn in the wild. This mod fixes this issue.
Tho i have to agree with @Island Potato, regardeless hes not uploading much Zomboid content lately:steammocking:.
It need balancing or options to do so. At the very least the type of bait could be something harder to get at early stages or simply more specific for each type of animal also for the benefit of focusing the trapping instead putting a bell pepper on a snare to get a chicken and getting a pig, a sheep and a deer.
I suppose we can try to change the config files for that. But thought the comment was justified.
Still love the mod tho!!!

@Unbreakable Patches: This mod does not conflict with Nepenthe's Nearby Traps. We touch entirely different portions of the trapping system.

could this mod have conflict with Nepenthe's nearby traps?

@IslandPotato: Thank you for the feedback. I will be taking a deeper look into this soon and try to get some of the balancing issues ironed out.

Love the mod! But it may need a bit of balancing - seems a bit op that in my run I filled a chicken coop with 6 chickens, and a sheep field with 5 sheep, all just using snare traps at level 1 trapping within a few days.

I mostly used crops during this time (peaches, cabbage, potatoes for the most part) but I only trapped one rabbit and no squirrels during the same period. I think certain animals might benefit from being locked behind trapping levels, or make the rates much more rare IMO.

But this mod has been a god send for my 12 months after outbreak start - as without this, I wouldn't have gotten any animals!

we need a mod to domesticate deer, because it would make sense during the zombie apocalypse to have a source of them

Hello! I have added in some adult animals. When I originally made this mod, my assumption was that snare traps would not have the strength to contain many of the adult animals. However, people who set snare traps to catch coyotes apparently have issues with catching deer by mistake. Also, snare taps are also used to catch feral pigs.

@Infestissuman: I am going to be doing some testing this weekend. If it works, I will be adding adult sheep as a rare but potential catch to snare traps.

Pretty cool mod! But wouldn't it make sens to let some adult animals fall into some traps? Like a snare trap maybe? I can imagine an adult sheep falling into one of those and getting stuck. Maybe some smaller adult pigs too? Just an idea!

Comrade Khleb, thank you! I appreciate your feedback. Let me know if anything seems off after you play with the mod for awhile :)

Just caught myself a lamb. I love the idea of this mod, gives you an extra option of finding raising animals before finding a cattle trailer. And the baits and traps use for each any every one of them make sense and in a very balance way.

Hello PuzzyDiztroier, I have updated the description to be a bit more informative and mention traps and baits for each new catch.

Hello! What traps can actually catch animals?
