Also, I did shoot in the prison's hallways, approximately 60-90 rounds, give or take. Three mags from the AR-15, that is, that caused the loss of hearing.
I have had it now (for the first time this playthrough) for 3 ingame days (2 hour days)
jokes aside, really neat mod
That's not a sentence I ever thought I'd write.
The earpro I wear IRL gives you super human hearing, and disables the mic and speakers when the dBs get high enough. It's great. One night, when I was wrapping up a dusk shoot at the shotgun range, I was the last person there, but I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, and about 100 yards out in the desert there was a coyote prowling for rabbits. I had accidentally turned the gain up to max on the earpro.
I didn't know about active hearing protection until 2019, so not sure if they existed back in '93. If they did, they'd make an amazing addition to the game.
This message brought to you by the letter, "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..."
Besides the ear muffs and ear protectors, does wearing a balaclava, or any other sort of head gear that covers the ears, somewhat provide a little bit of ear protection?
Also, it would be really cool if you added in the soft foam ear protection. :)
