You might also consider a dedicated submod for LOTR because of the blood mage religion (so that it can have proper tenets, hostility, holy sites).

Vampire mods tend to make you immortal, unable to die from diseases and/or less chance to die from battle. You're still mortal here, although just live longer.
* Blood Mage Trait no longer blocks Strengthen Bloodline decision
* Can now remove own BAD congenital traits, by draining prisoners (ugly, slow, delicate)
DO NOT start with a Hideous (level 3 bad appearance/beauty trait). This irreversibly alters your character's face, and no amount of draining or console commands can make them beautiful again :(
@rouge, this is very tricky and not planning on doing it anytime soon, as I prefer having them randomly pop up

Can I expect my sons to invest in my bloodline if I land them? Courtier blood mages do not seem to do much with the trait.

it can be fixed by modifying the character_interactions/bm_become-a-blood-mage.txt file and add the scope:actor tag, like this:

They are quite rare already, same as staring with intelligent trait or 0.25%. I get around 40-50 out of the 20,000 characters on game start. AFAIK, having the trait chance be dynamic isn't avialble in the game code, so unless I do a complete overhaul of how to get the trait it's not possible 😐
- Fix gender in description of being killed by blood mage
- Failed trait draining leaves the victim weakened, making them more likely to die in jail
- Zealous AI won't convert to cult.
- Added Game Rule to disable cult/religion decision (can still take at game start)

Could I ask you for a mod that only allows you to drain life (cure illness, add health to live longer or maybe immortality) or traits from your prisoners, if you are a witch?
All this using the game's already existing assets, without adding new traits, religions, game rules, etc?
If not, can I take your mod and do it, myself? :)
