@Heretic thanks for the feedback! right now i'm focused on releasing another my mod (more info on it in discord). after that my main goal will be rewriting WASD from scratch for better compatibility and stability. problems with modded weapons isn't their issue - it's just every mod treats it's weapons differently. I'll continue searching for a best way to implement combat.

@Saneez I tried to enable this mod now, but there are no changes, the shotgun still shoots 30 shots per second like a weapon of death.

@Heretic found that enabling run and gun mod, even though its not been updated yet, seems to fix that issue.

For some reason my mod is not showing at the bottom, it is simply not in the mod menu, it is there and enabled in the settings, too, maybe I forgot to download something?

Basically the firearms didn't fire, everything else works, maybe it's a game cache problem on my PC.

@Shootnik yes! Mod utilize base game shooting - pawn skill, weapon, cover etc. All of it matters, just like with usual shooting!

I've been having this issue where my pawns in WASD mode can't fire while moving. Previously, they were able to do so just fine... But at some point, it just stopped working. I don't know how or why.

A few years ago, a chinese modder made a WASD mod that functioned only somewhat.
It would move the camera when moving, and there wasn't much function other than moving.

Fun mod.

I'm curious. Is there a way to also make this kind of mod to work in a non drafted mode? Like for example so let's say you want to use and directly control your pawn to move through WASD and mine specific ores or trees for instance?

I know that is probably redundant since the pawns will just automatically do orders and things anyway, but oddly enough it does peak my interest to control the pawn in a WASD way to do some of these things at least sometimes.

Not saying you should or must do it. I am just very curious.

As soon as the bugs are fixed this would be a top 5 mod. Now we wait until a proper adventure mode gets added/modded and it's going to be dwarf fortress adventure mode

not really sure what's causing it but WASD does not work at all, you can shoot, but can't move. Also make this work with Tacticowl instead.

Anyone else's nades being duplicated and shot at machinegun full auto speed when wasd? I can designate the nade to be thrown at a spot normally resulting in only 1 thrown but attacking with wasd causes 2 to be thrown even if I only have 1 total on the pawn.
