And after a while, it sits quite low.

Heya. Alright, new issue. 1. It takes a while to get to max speed, 2. after about 20 minutes of running, it refuses to speed up [but it does during fog?!] [ https://medal.tv/games/stormworks/clips/kRnc6thkuBb7l5jAB?invite=cr-MSx2OFosNDAyNDI2MzM3&v=120 ]

The two back props refuse to rotate.

@DOG DAY Haha :'D But the boat is not very performance optimized too, because I decided to go for reliability over game performance. I.e. the microcontrollers are a separate physics body within the tank, which therefore can't be physics flooded. But this way most impacts do not destroy any microcontrollers, making the ship more reliable.

eu ia comentar, esse barco deixa meu jogo em slow motion, mas o problema não é o barco é o meu pc gamer vagabundo mesmo

@Nightmare I'm glad you like the changes. I also fixed the light, so thanks for spotting it. :')

If your ship is being boarded, you unfortunately have to regain control by using the stuff in the armory for now. :'D

Issue found: Left middle perimiter spotlight does not turn on.
Corrupted 2 Jul @ 5:42pm
Something that would be VERY cool to add is a system to disable all other lighting/dock controls besides the bridge. For example: Someone would break onto the boat, I'd lock the doors. They'd mess with lighting, autopilot, and sometimes release my crab pots randomly. If I could lock those down, then it would be mostly break in proof.
Corrupted 2 Jul @ 5:19pm
It does! I'll load it up today, right now actually! Thank you.

@Nightmare

In addition to some steering/autopilot tuning, I've did the following:
- Added additional panel for pod locking/unlocking to the bridge
- Fixed rear balcony door not locking

So thank you for your help and I hope this already helps you. :')

I could certainly try to make a buoy auto-mark system with some microcontrollers, the only issue is you can't set a waypoint on your current position
Corrupted 21 Jun @ 8:08am
It did. That's awesome! I forgot about the RPS thing, next time I go out [In about 20 mins] I'll make sure it'l lower and see how that works. I didn't know that about the buoys, that'll be very helpful! We were certainly kept afloat, but the window ports started going under after a while. Not that big a deal, but we went to a fish gantry to sell our fish and sell the diesel in the tanks to see if that was an error, as nothing went under previously and there was no outer damage, but the meter was on 100, then 150, then 200, then 260, then the bilge pumps took care of it.
Reysn  [author] 21 Jun @ 2:33am
@Nightmare Thanks for the suggestions! Most should be doable with some redesign. I'll tackle them when I have time and report back. For now, try lowering engine target RPS for precise maneuvers. Love hearing about your crew adventures - I'll work to make the Beluga even better! :')

The buoys have transponders and there is a 1x1 monitor map on the bridge with a transponder locator (button "T"). Tracks nearest transponder to find buoys when they hit water. I'd love better tracking but don't know how without major overhaul. Feel free to modify/reupload if you know someone who can. :')

The long ropes use pulleys so pods can drop to any depth. Takes longer to surface but very useful.
Interior bilge pumps: whole interior is one room, so water takes time to reach the ports. Hope it kept you afloat! ^^

I'm sorry, I know this is kinda like spam. A final thing. Is there a way you could add a panel for the crab release like there is on the deck panel? To release the crab pots without exiting the bridge, I mean.
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 6:25pm
When you hit the lock exits button, the Stern Balcony doesn't unlock. I've been taken over twice from that,
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 5:24pm
Oh, and something to automatically mark where the crab pots are on the interactive map or some sort? I'll have them about a kilometer apart in pairs, the buoys will drift [about 300m deep waters], and i'll loose a few. They don't show up on map either. Some kind of 'buoy drop/buoy pickup' button of some sorts?
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 5:21pm
For example, I'll be trying to pull up the the fish gantry, I have to reverse a bit, it'll jerk, i'll be further off. If there were easy throttle or something, it would go slower for more precise movements? This is a very cool crab boat anyway though. I would find it cool if you could add 'easy steering' too so its less sensitive. It just jerks. OH, and the crab pots. Me and me crew were fishin, had a lotta lobster to haul. When I put the pots on the ramp thing, they still yeetus mcbeetus all over. Any way to fix that? And how come the ropes are incredibly long? I dropped crab pots down into 300m waters, thought I lost them, went AFK, a minute later the bouys were floating. Also, the 6 key on the helm, it does what exactly? I can't figure it out. OTher than that, this is an amazing boat.
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 5:21pm
Ah, alright. I was wondering. I had told my crew to shut it off to try to isolate a random leak we found, water was coming into the ship at an unknown location. It was interior, not void space. We still don't know where. The pumps finally started draining it at 250 on the meter. I told my crew to shut off the stern and the engines died. We thought it was related to the leak. I'm guessing it was cross feeding though. I thought water was getting into the tank somehow, but I guess it was just the bow crossfeeding into the stern and filling it. I was also wondering if there was a way you could add an 'easy throttle' button or something similar?
Reysn  [author] 20 Jun @ 4:45pm
@Nightmare Yes, I actually fixed it today. Somehow the bow fuel-to-engine pumps were disconnected, so without crossflow, the bow tank would be isolated. The pumps are now connected. But nothing to filter water out of the tanks - I will have to take a look at how to do something like that.
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 1:34pm
Does this have an auto water pump thing? When I shut off a valve to the stern, the engines die.
Reysn  [author] 20 Jun @ 12:48pm
@Nightmare Yes, this is a feature. Right below each engine you can cut off either fuel tank. This is also possible for the auxiliary generator. Left to the auxiliary generator there is also the crossflow valve, which should be closed, to isolate the tanks.

Step by step:
1. Close "Fuel Tanks Crossflow" left of the auxiliary gen
2. Close "Fuel from Bow Fuel Tank" on Engine 1
3. Close "Fuel from Bow Fuel Tank" on Engine 2
4. Close "Fuel from Bow Fuel Tank" on Auxiliary Generator

Would you wish there would be a button/key that completely isolates a tank (one for each tank)? This could be a useful feature.

I hope you'll make it! :moralefist:
Corrupted 20 Jun @ 9:32am
Can you add fuel shut off valves? I just got hit by someone and the bow tank is filling with water. Idk how to stop it from getting to the engines and just use the other tank
Reysn  [author] 3 Jun @ 2:23pm
@benjaminjglenn2011 Thank you! You can find the code for the armory on the desk of the captains cabin. :')
benjaminjglenn2011 3 Jun @ 2:19pm
could i get the code for the armory??? Amazing mod btw!
Reysn  [author] 6 May @ 12:00am
@trainmaster785 Thank you! While the Beluga is a bit more roleplay focused, I am planning on creating a more automated crabbing boat at one point. :')

For the Beluga, using the remote controls, it is viable to utilize it alone, but it's a bit more difficult.
trainmaster785 5 May @ 3:10pm
Amazing crab ship, but can you please make a version that is meant to be used by 1 player. Anyways thank you for this crab ship.
