Very fun to camp in the wilderness!

great mod! but it would be great if there was a tent that protects from rain. sitting ona chair in my tent protected from rain while being in front of my campfire while readind a book.... pls add this my dude!

What is the key for placing the drying kit?

It doesn't work for me :C

it says I already have a bed set up and the pcamp and pbed commands do nothing. all other p commands say i have nothing to pack up. What am I missing here as this used to work :)

Hey, loving this mod! Do you think, since you've figured out how to place things in the world, you could try to make a mod that allows us to bury bodies? It's such a cool mechanic and it's really disappointing we can't do it more. Would be so nice if we could properly lay to rest some of these poor folks we find.

Really great mods that enrich the experience and immersion very much, thank you! I like the way this mod allows you to sort of immerse yourself into the world a bit more, just sit still and create a nice (and or functional) moment out of the scenery you find :)
A small visual improvement for the mod could be to despawn some grass around parts of the tent like the interactable bedroll, so it doesn't sprout from the blanket haha.
Functionally, a "sleep & save" bed variant could be a nice feature, and if I dared to ask, a fast travel marker would open up the world in some powerful new ways I think, making a little home base wherever you please. That could very well be out of scope. Of course, no expectations, only daydreams :) All the best!

Great mod dude! Would really really like to know where/what you need to get the unique tent lol. I have ocd about not being able to find or figure out where something is and running around the map talking to every merchant trying to find it isnt exactly a fun time. Big appreciate what you made here!

Hello I think I have it working again ty very much.. but as I said before and unsubscribing the game keep cashing on reload after unsubscribing this mod I add too resubscribing to get it to stop crashing on reload of game. but I feel it the tent is back and working well let you know ty very much

Maybe try unsubscribing and the subscribing to the mod again, to make sure you’ve got the latest version

yes ty . but I have been trying to do that pushing the F9 key it's says i have chair and fire but can't get the tent back is why I am asking..

@deranged_donkey you don’t have to be near it to pack it up. just use either pack up camp, or pack up the tent key specifically

I still need to find my tent to pick it up. it well not pick up tent with being close to it..

@tequilatibbs + deranged_donkey - give it a try now! after updating to 1.4 of the mod, you might need to pack up everything individually with the pack up keys, and after that it should all work smoothly!

lol I need help. I have a tent set up some where and I have no clue where it's at. how do I find my tent.

Ive encountered the yellow text "you already have a tent deployed" situation. Console command also doesnt work, cant pack up or deploy. My text has fallen throught the floor at the old womans place in the woods I think. I can still access the bag there but I cannot see it and cant pack it away.

can't use the camp equipment, says it's useable but only options are to drop it or move it to horse

Please — and I say this metaphorically and literally — please NEVER, EVER STOP COOKING. Your mods turned the game of my dreams into literally even further the game of my dreams, both the cooking mod and this one are features I would've loved to see in vanilla and your approach is nothing short of incredible. Please never stop cooking amazing ideas like these two mods.

Um I'm playing on a steam deck idk how to use this mod

The mod won't allow me to deploy a bed because it says I already have one deployed, which I don't..so I can't deploy the bed. It would be cool to have a automatic mark on the map for your camp setup that way one can look on the map to see where the camp is.

THERE is a conflict with unlimited save. F5 DOESNT work anymore when trying to save with this mod, but unsubbing to this mod allows me to f5 save again. so can you look at this :)

the pack up bed or pack up camp keys don’t work? or the console commands to do the same?

New issue when I try and place the bed a yellow sentence comes up saying 'Cannot place the bed because it's set up somewhere' else. How do you clear this so I can set up?

I don't know if it's been addressed, but I can't cook anything on my campfire - the animation simply won't trigger.

@ everyone - if you have any issues loading up a save and the camp isn't packing up or reloading correctly, re-download the mod for the fix! v1.3.1

@ cretedog - transport bug means you have cooking mod loading *after* the camping mod, but the latest version of this mod should fix that issue anyway. download v1.3 for the fix for that.

@*sTbh* Mr.GoodKat - the innkeepers and traders have them. if they don't you might have an older version of the mod installed, the latest should be compatible with other mods that add stuff to traders.

@ everyone with keybinding problems:
you all have other mods that add keybindings, and they are loading after this one, and removing the keybinds from your game. unless there is a compatibility patch, you can also use the console commands i just put in the description to use those as an alternative.

@[IMPACT]LITVIN - chair is fixed in the latest update, and added fire on/off toggle to the campfire! re-download to get the changes

I found and bought a camping kit. Unfortunately I don't see any new keybinds available in my main settings menu. F2, F3, F4 dont do anything for me either.

You put a chair in front of you and the character sits down at 9 o'clock, that's how you determine the position, only the fire is not burning, there is a button to cook and that's it

Where do I find the camping kit or wayfarer's kit?

I discovered if I don't place the chair there is no transport bug (if this helps)?

For me deploying is F2 place campfire, F3 place chair, F4 Place bed. F6 pick up fire, F7 pick up chair, F9 pick up bed, F10 pick up camp. Hope this helps!

Thanks it deploys but when I cook it transports me to a death? I also have the wayfarers kit.
