It's my wifes favourite song lol

I can't remember how to add mercenaries top of my head,

I know I added mercenaries in my Charlemagne mod for Attila so maybe go check that, although I may have just modified the existing mercenaries there so I'm not sure.

As for why I am so nosey, I was looking at mercenary mods trying to figure out how to add my mercenary unit into the campaign as a proper mercenary unit. You wouldn’t know that, right?

Really though..... because to update the mod fir a new patch (so that it doesn't appear as out of date) you need to make a change. Usually it doesn't require a change, so I just copy that text and then paste it again at the end and now it's 71 times

I think the unit caps should be changed to unlimited, as there are only a certain amount of units you can have at all times such as Noble Warriors for Carthage for example. Also, thank you so much for keeping up with this game, I love this game and without certain mods it just isnt anywhere near as good.

Well depending on the selection of other mods one has.. I for example have All Faction Auxilliaries, which kinda allows you to recruit OP units as a non OP faction, making mercenaries largely useless.. But, then again mercenaries are usually good for sudden hostile army popups near settlements, when a siege turns out to be at the enemy's advantage or when you've just conquered a settlement and require manpower. I'm sure there's a few tweaks and buffs you could give the mod, but all in all I think it's quite fine in this state, apart from the fact that it is outdated of course.

This is not part of the overhaul. The mercenary stuff you are talking about is exclusive to Carthage and you can read more about that on the standalone mod for Carthage and Iberians https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=370194245

I can't tell from the description of this or your superb Overhaul whether the latter includes the reworked merc system. I see mercenaries in the Unit Information thread on that page but it also references a separate building chain which isn't discussed here.

For the folks concerned about corrupted general textures--this problem isn't the result of any specific mod/conflict, but rather of having too many mods in your Data folder. After the Empire Divided patch, having more than 37 mods (INCLUDING non-active and non-Steam) will cause the 'invisible generals' glitch.

Hi Sebidee, does this work with the actual Empire Divided game. I don't mean the general campaign with the empire divded update, but in the actual empire divded campaign. I don't see any difference. For mercenaries it shows that spear infantry costs 225 each turn, peltasts mercenaries cost 235 each turn and cretan archers cost 340 each turn.
