@ihatemygrave Just to be sure, due to the way you wrote, when you took the "materials" folder from the 7z file, you didn't put inside the game's own "materials" folder, right? Where the path would look like "materials>materials>JohnSheppard44". If anything, add me on Steam so its easier for us to speak with one another.

also question, I'm having a bit of trouble with the installation. I got it to show up in the spawnmenu, but every weapon is a missing texture. I put the materials folder into the materials folder and the prompt to replace files popped up and I clicked it

Its all good, don't worry about it. I do have plans for it, along with porting the RPG-7 from Squad itself, which i intend to pack with the other rocket launchers from the game for a separate release here in the workshop. It should be done soon, since i'm only missing the M72A7 LAW, the RPG-7 and the SMAW i believe.

hate to sound like I'm begging but would it be possible at all to add the tandem warhead for the RPG-7 in the next pack? Squad is the only game I know of that has the PG-7VR tandem round

Thank you very much man! I'll be honest, the PKP was supposed to be on this version, as i had already done a port of it way back, although with a outdated skeleton rig structure in comparison to the one i've made for newer weapons. And one thing in particular that made me move away from it at the time was rigging the bullet belt, especialy after having done the HK21 belt (50 round bullet belt since i was feeling inspired for it at the time, but not anymore after having done it). I'm currently finishing it, with a 32 round belt for now. Another thing that put me away at the time, but that i have sorted it out now, is that the game has about 6 different variants/modifications of the PKM/PKP, and i wanted to make a rig that would fit all of them (except the PKP CQB for now).

Now, let me be clear on this: this pack is huge and absolutely f*cking awesome. An in-depth customisation that required for an individual packaging of models for ease of use? Massive work, no wonder it took a toll on your creative capacity. It's big, it's high quality and it's has more workhours put into it that I do at my IRL job.
With that being said, when I first saw that this pack had model rips from Caliber, I got borderline ecstatic with the thought "Finally, a good PKM/PKP model on Workshop, blessed be this day!"
Well, you can guess my dissapointment when I went through the list of models and did not see PKM or PKP being mentioned.
"We were on the verge of greatness. We were... this close"
So yeah, a meme to summarise: "JohnSheppard! Add Caliber PKM/PKP models to your pack, and my life is yours"
P.S. Also, PM/PB grip panels got that error-chessboard texture, but you were already informed of that. Cheers!

I also found bugs
with the textures of the PM and PB pistols. The bakelite lining on the handle is purple and covered with cells.
Well, the Mossebrg 590 has an emo texture in the second skin.

By the way, I know a couple of mods for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. COP from where you can get the Winchester 1300, a couple of Remongton 700 versions and the SIG P220 models.

I forgot to write the location on the description, sorry. On the end of the prop spawnmenu, you'll go on the "Games" folder (where you can spawn stuff from mounted games like Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, etc), and over there it'll be two paths: "JohnSheppard44>Caliber" and "JohnSheppard44>The Arsenal"

@ŸouŋgPũrpleĎragōnŚtarlŏk 16.7 GB is the best i could get while maintaining the best texture quality possible. There are over 2000 textures, and each material is split into 3 textures (Albedo/BC/Diffuse/ etc + Exponent + Normal), with the majority of the textures being 2048x2048 (2K resolution and others being 4K even). I have compressed as much as possible, even downscaled some textures by one multiplier, such as 2K to 1K resolution, in models where it didn't show up as much, and i could compress more, but at the cost of having artifacts and poor quality that will ruin the model. In regards to not uploading to the workshop, the issue isn't just regarding the weight, but the spawnmenu in the screenshot i just uploaded (now the second one on the page) is the reason why. The entire pack as a whole, which is this version originally released in Discord, is NOT designed for this, which is why it also should not be installed in the "addons" folder.

Weapong on the 16.9 gb? Really? And why can't you upload everything here? I heard that with the latest changes, you can upload more than one gigabyte of content. I think 16 gigabytes of content with weapons could easily be uploaded and forgotten about.

You're welcome! In regards to compression, most of them have it, but its to a degree where you barely notice it, meanwhile others are uncompressed because when compressed, they would have severe artifacts (dots, gradient lines, squares, etc) appearing on them. I think the OTs-27 has either the normal map or the exponent uncompressed, same with the HK33A2+HK53 (They share the same texture file.

If you copied and pasted it as it is in the page here, it won't work. You need to remove the spaces in the link (they are at the start), otherwise it will not load the folder. I just tested here without my account logged in and it works.

In regards to file size, i tried the best i could in compressing hundreds of textures not only to reduce the size but also memory usage in-game, however, the issue is that with some textures, compression absolutely ruins them as it causes artifacts to appear and just destroy the look of the weapon (a bunch of tiny dots, multiple squares, gradient lines, etc), so some had to remain uncompressed (RGBA8888). There is also some 4K textures for some weapons that even when compressed, contribute heavily to the weight. This was the best i could get with the hundreds (probably over a thousand) texture files for the hundreds of weapons in the pack while maintaining the best texture quality possible.

@SandwichPony Man, the version from 2021 brings me way back, the only games i was porting weapons from was Caliber, PAYDAY 2 and a little bit of Killing Floor 2. I'll be honest though, more than once i had thought of scrapping it back in 2023 and got burnt out over and over again until i managed to get this version out (i still do from time to time while working on the new one). Still, thanks alot!

Jesus christ man, I remember back when you were doing the WIPs in 2021. I honestly thought you scrapped the project at some point since it was that gigantic, and it IS big enough to cover a bunch of niches most people won't find too, keep it up!
