@Idward
The fridge is already a hopper
Idward 4 hours ago
Would it be possible to make a fridge hopper for nutrient paste? In odyssey I need to juggle the food in the hopper every so often to prevent it from spoiling and it would be really nice to have a fridge dump into a grinder or the pipe's network grinder.

@Till Eulenspiegel This is the harmony patch for temperature: https://github.com/bbradson/Adaptive-Storage-Framework/blob/main/Source/AdaptiveStorage/HarmonyPatches/AdjustThingTemperature.cs
It's definitely more efficient than owl's, on a method that is called less frequently, with additional fast thingCategory check to skip irrelevant entities. It also uses ASF's faster than vanilla renderer. The mods can technically all be loaded together and directly compared in dub's analyzer to see how they perform
Till Eulenspiegel 12 Jul @ 1:02pm
Does this mod have a GitHub? Wanted to see if this fridge is more like the kv fridge or more like owls rimfridge in implementation. If it is more like owls I may swap to this since i like the look
Anon 12 Jul @ 12:24pm
Can you change the mod icon that appears on the loading screen for this mod? it is really unsightly
Ducki 12 Jul @ 11:07am
@seobongzu Thank you, my smooth brain sorted it :D
bradson 12 Jul @ 10:34am
@Anon The mod description shows much of the difference. Textures are different, items getting neatly arranged within buildings is different, labels, selection behaviour, the refrigeration doesn't affect pawns that happen to stand on the cell here, performance is better too
Anon 12 Jul @ 10:07am
What is the difference between this and Rimfridge?
Foxtrot 813 12 Jul @ 8:11am
Another brilliant mod, thank you.
seobongzu  [author] 12 Jul @ 2:21am
@Ducki
Please read and follow the "How to add categories and thingDefs" section at the bottom of the mod description. It's not difficult.
Ducki 12 Jul @ 1:28am
I noticed items from vanilla brewing expanded like the Whiskey Mash couldn't be placed in these. Is this some thing u can do or is it their side? Love the mod :)
Gaminnewf 10 Jul @ 7:51am
@seobongzu Ah!, ok, thanks!
seobongzu  [author] 9 Jul @ 4:57pm
@ィsenseless 学fearfulィ
good
seobongzu  [author] 9 Jul @ 4:57pm
@Gaminnewf
That feature is part of the RimFridge
Gaminnewf 9 Jul @ 1:59pm
Will there be an option to set the temperatures for the fridges?
I want to try to keep the beers at just -5 C to keep them frosty.
(can't remember if that 'Frosty' feature was Vanilla or a mod lol)
seobongzu  [author] 9 Jul @ 7:24am
@Leonardo
yes
Leonardo 9 Jul @ 6:57am
Is it compatible with 1.6?

irrelevantredundancy 8 Jul @ 10:16am
Regarding the assembly file from google drive. Can I ask for a little more instruction on what to do with the file. Does it go in the [sbz] Fridge folder or the RimWorld mods folder ( 294100 ) and when placing it in whichever folder do I place primary folder, or do I open it up and place the two secondary folders contained in the primary folder? Thanks!
seobongzu  [author] 8 Jul @ 1:32am
@大脑单线程
Yes, it’s possible
大脑单线程 8 Jul @ 1:23am
Can it be connected to a nutritional paste machine?
If it doesn't work, please make it okay?
Sench 6 Jul @ 12:28am
Very neat, but I think the power costs may be a bit high in terms of balance.
Consider a 3x7 (internal) freezer room with an empty walk path and vanilla shelves, that's 2*7*3 = 42 items frozen for 200 W, instead of 4 for 75W as the best option.

Tejirof 28 Jun @ 11:28pm
@seobongzu, Thanks so much, I appreciate how fast you are with stuff, you're amazing <3 everything works great! Take care <:
seobongzu  [author] 28 Jun @ 3:34pm
@Tejirof
Until now, they were grouped under a dropdown. Since I removed the dropdown in the recent update, please resubscribe if the update hasn't been applied.
Tejirof 28 Jun @ 1:34pm
Is there something I'm doing wrong to not be able to see and craft the larger/double fridges? Didn't realize that was even an option until i checked back here, i've been doing singles ;-;
seobongzu  [author] 27 Jun @ 11:44pm
@McLets
Please provide the mod link so I can check it out.
McLets 27 Jun @ 10:14pm
Can I request this mod to work with hospitality vending machines? All the other fridge mods have a vending machine variant for them.
seobongzu  [author] 27 Jun @ 9:16pm
- Added a guide for adding categories and thingDefs in the description.
Radiohead 25 Jun @ 6:32am
@seobongzu Oh, I actually had my electric stove, steel butcher table, and two medium sized fridges in the room, wooden floors. I didn't know butcher tables reduce cleanliness that much! I appreciate the information.
seobongzu  [author] 24 Jun @ 8:19pm
@Radiohead
I'm not entirely sure. As far as I know, items and shelves don't affect cleanliness. Is there perhaps a butcher table in the kitchen? Butcher tables significantly reduce cleanliness.
Radiohead 24 Jun @ 7:57pm
I believe I found an issue. It seems that items in the fridges count towards the cleanliness of a room. I have a perfectly tidied up kitchen, with a cooking station and a fridge to easily hold my raw ingredients by the stovetop. Raw meat, and veggies. One fridge holds the meat, the other holds the veggies. Even with the room freshly swept, its at -0.63, thus Dirty. When the meat is supposed to be neatly contained within a fridge.

Muad'dib 22 Jun @ 6:01am
@TEAser that is a vague question because there are like 3 different multiplayer versions. In addition most mod authors do not stress if it is or not. But if you're using zetriths mp then I remember the community had reported that adaptive framework is safe. I've yet to test it myself, wife hasn't been in the mood to play.
seobongzu  [author] 22 Jun @ 2:47am
@TEAser
You might want to check with Adaptive Storage Framework for that question
TEAser 22 Jun @ 2:22am
Is this Multiplayer Competible
seobongzu  [author] 21 Jun @ 3:38am
@Rowan Skye
Isn't it the case that this same issue happens when you place other storage furniture in a room, not just wall fridges? I believe this problem was fixed in version 1.6.
seobongzu  [author] 21 Jun @ 3:31am
@Andre
The space was quite tight, so we didn't have much choice. I didn't want things sticking out all over the place.
Andre 21 Jun @ 3:25am
Shouldn't the small fridge be 4 items total, since it's half the size of the large one?
The large one holds 8 items, while the small one holds 2.
Rowan Skye 20 Jun @ 6:51am
So, there's something weird when using Wall Fridges, and that they convert any room they become a wall of into a storeroom, even though everything within said room isn't storeroom related (i.e. rec/dining combo, and so forth)
seobongzu  [author] 15 Jun @ 11:53pm
@Gender Bender
I'm planning to add a guide on 'How to Add Items' soon.
For now, please refer to the comments on page 2 and try modifying based on that.
Gender Bender 15 Jun @ 11:47pm
fantastic mod, one thing i wanna ask tho. would it be possible to make blood bag from more injuries be able to put in the fridge?
bradson 14 Jun @ 8:13am
@natknut As usual, try with a minimal modlist, redownload whatever could be relevant to rule that out, then once you've figured out why it's happening report with the conflicting mod and a log, please.
natknut 14 Jun @ 7:48am
don't know what killed it, but the fridge basically forces pawns to just stand around when it comes time to haul. It also has a bugged up description when you click on it.
ForestSingleRank 13 Jun @ 9:31pm
can we have the dynamic power consumption like the another fridge mod? also, can we have similar effect like the in-wall coolers and vent to make the wall fridge have better look?
bradson 13 Jun @ 12:34pm
That's set individually on each building
Muad'dib 13 Jun @ 11:00am
Talking about things stacking diagonally... Which mod decides what does/does not stack diagonally this or the core framework? One of my mods (which all should be using this framework now) is making it so some of my stuff like stacks diagonally and looks like a leaning tower, like when the cell is purely 6 stacks of mead but clumped up like when it's half mead and half beer.
