The fridge is already a hopper
It's definitely more efficient than owl's, on a method that is called less frequently, with additional fast thingCategory check to skip irrelevant entities. It also uses ASF's faster than vanilla renderer. The mods can technically all be loaded together and directly compared in dub's analyzer to see how they perform
Please read and follow the "How to add categories and thingDefs" section at the bottom of the mod description. It's not difficult.

That feature is part of the RimFridge

I want to try to keep the beers at just -5 C to keep them frosty.
(can't remember if that 'Frosty' feature was Vanilla or a mod lol)
yes

Yes, it’s possible
If it doesn't work, please make it okay?
Consider a 3x7 (internal) freezer room with an empty walk path and vanilla shelves, that's 2*7*3 = 42 items frozen for 200 W, instead of 4 for 75W as the best option.
Until now, they were grouped under a dropdown. Since I removed the dropdown in the recent update, please resubscribe if the update hasn't been applied.
Please provide the mod link so I can check it out.
I'm not entirely sure. As far as I know, items and shelves don't affect cleanliness. Is there perhaps a butcher table in the kitchen? Butcher tables significantly reduce cleanliness.
You might want to check with Adaptive Storage Framework for that question
Isn't it the case that this same issue happens when you place other storage furniture in a room, not just wall fridges? I believe this problem was fixed in version 1.6.
The space was quite tight, so we didn't have much choice. I didn't want things sticking out all over the place.
The large one holds 8 items, while the small one holds 2.
I'm planning to add a guide on 'How to Add Items' soon.
For now, please refer to the comments on page 2 and try modifying based on that.
