@Aacad the main Lua file in 42/media/client. Do not erase the whole file, just the bit you don't want.

I hate patches that change the weight of 5.56mm

Which text in which file should I erase to avoid applying the

I love that this is compatible with Rain's! Amazing!

@Martin it's hard to come up with gun idea that 1) will actually be useful in game and 2) isn't effectively a cosmetic variations of an existing gun, like the hundreds of "5.56mm assault rifle with 30 round clip" that exist in some weapon packs.

lmao what an obscure choice for a gun you cant even buy yet. Based. :csgogun:

That P10 is super cute so I might make a mod for that as well.

@phoophant the issue is that in vanilla zomboid guns can either have a magazine loaded in (in which case the magazine replaces all bullets, except for one in the chamber) or it can have rounds loaded one-by-one shotgun or revolver style, or it can have all rounds loaded at once from single bullets (double barrel shotgun style).

Adding stripper clips wouldn't be too bad... but making is so you can use stripper clips OR individual rounds would mean a lot of messing about because all reload related code works on the assumption every gun has only one reload method. Not impossible, but IMO not worth the hassle of doing and maintaining compared to single bullet reloading for one gun.

grendel, the company kel tec would become, made the p10 which was a .380 pistol that had an internal magazine holding 10 rounds, which was high capacity for a pocket pistol at the time. actually it kinda still is today. you could single load it, or use m16 stripper clips. so really this isn't too strange to exist in 1993. I mean it's no stranger than a zombie apocalypse happening in 1993.

I know nothing about coding but I kind had an idea for how stripper clips would work. Basically it would just be a "consumable" item that you create with the appropriate amount of ammunition and the empty clip from the crafting menu, and when you "consume it" it adds an empty clip and how ever many rounds it had to your inventory, as well as giving you a temporary x20 reload speed, to simulate stripping all the rounds in at once. if such a thing is even possible. Something like that.
