Meanwhile, a new update 1.1.0 has arrived!

1. Added information about the artifact created by a dwarf.
2. Added a new tab with notable positions held by a dwarf.
3. Added a new tab with all engraved slabs. The tab contains the slabs' texts and the button to center on the slab.

Thanks, I forgot about it! Fixed

The mods description still says it needs to be manualy installed despite it being fixed now.

I found the problem!
It was a little trick with encoding and a BOM symbol at the beginning of the info.txt file.
Now it should work simply by installation with the last 1.0.3 update
So, no need to copy it manually anymore

It didn't help :( The DFHack is still refusing to see this mod somehow
So, for now, the problem with installation is still actual

@Mobbstar oh, thanks, mate, I'll try this workaround!
Still, it's pretty strange why it works in other mods, but not with this one -- the devs keep silent :(
Wishing you the best with your mod as well!

Hi, I just released a mod that also needs DF Hack. I found that scripts get initialised with the dfhack_flags.module, and the only ways to run it as a not-module are the developer paths (like you figured out) or as command in the launcher.

Since this mod has no gameplay effects, I evil-ly suggest that you simply remove the check for dfhack_flags.module, thereby always unconditionally running the script when the game starts.

This looks very interesting, hoping to try it soon!

Thanks :D

I tried to fix the positions of the overlay for slab and coffin, but I did it blindly cause changing resolution doesn't change anything on my side
Chariot 2 Jun @ 8:25am
i play fullscreen at 1920x1080p, if that helps. the overlay issues totally don't interfere with the function of the mod, i just wanted to bring it up in case it had to do with anything. i wish you luck with the bugfixing for the installation -- all this scripting stuff is totally out of my wheelhouse, LOL
RebOOter  [author] 2 Jun @ 8:10am
Yep, something wrong with the installation process, so you need to copy this mod to the dfhack-config\scripts or add the path manually to the dfhack-config\script-paths.txt file

I asked guys from the DFHack what could be wrong, 'cause everything is the same as for other mods

Thank you, @Chariot, for letting know!

Thank you for the feedback!

I'll try to investigate the installation issue. Looks like I messed with the default running of the script

And the positions of overlays for coffins and slabs. What screen resolution do you have? Maybe it's the reason because I didn't test it for different resolutions :D

But about the overlap issue, it's kinda normal for the DFHack windows. If there's half of a texture under the window, it will always look like this =(
Chariot 1 Jun @ 10:39pm
maybe i just wasn't able to get it working in the normal way for a different reason, but if anyone has trouble getting this mod working, what got it to work for me was:

1. copying the 'dwarven_memorial.lua' and 'internal' folder from within the workshop mod folder
2. pasting these into the 'dfhack-config\scripts' folder (found within the base DF game folder)

opening the overlay from a tomb zone doesn't appear to have any issues, but is a little wonky when opening it from a coffin or slab (screenshot> https://i.imgur.com/vbw76pr.png ).

these issues are probably due to some installation mistake on my part tho.
