i think its a dll combining all of their features so they dont need to update multiple dlls. theres basic xml defs for everything. if steam tells you a 1.5 mod "requires" this mod, thats probably due to the 1.6 version of said mod requiring it (afaik you cant set that seperately for different versions of the same mod!) but i havent found a mod requiring this yet so maybe they´ll 2.0 re-upload their mods for 1.6 with this dependency so 1.5 players dont face this problem OR its actually only meant as a tool for the community to make stuff with. its a bit of a mystery lol but uhm dont use it for 1.5...
And what should we read? There is nothing written in the description about "FOR VERSION 1.5 IT IS NOT NEEDED" in the mod that depends on it, nothing is written either? Why should I go to discord to find out that this garbage is currently not needed by anyone?
My mod manager threw an error because it was missing the framework neccessary to launch my 1.5 modlist.
That's likely why people tried to install this 1.6 mod on 1.5
