I believe you can click the hammer icon in the corner for everything that's broken to leave a blueprint.

I second the torches leaving blueprints, it would save a lot of tedious micromanagement

This mod would be massively improved by making Tallow a valid Animal Product ingredient for Pemmican. Because that's literally what Pemmican is, dried meat & refined animal fat.

@kongkim Eh, not really, especially if you don't have refrigeration yet (and if you're still using torches you don't). When you can't save meat you have to use it quick whenever you get it.

I play a lot of small farming colonies and homesteads with the personal rule to never use refrigerators or freezers (cellars from one of the storage mods are okay, but that's it), and usually end up with hundreds of pemmican while meat is still going bad. Being able to use meat for light and cooking instead of just non-perishable food and a couple cheaper fine meals is a nice plus, and I'd love more things to do with tallow if anything.

@kongkim The ability to fuel them with meat instead of wood. There's a lot of colonies with more meat than wood, like anything cannibalistic, extremly cold or hot biomes, stuff like that.

@Autumn If I remember correctly it's about 12 days or around that, definitely more than meat.

@Billo J Dahka I will add compat to turn one into the other but there is no mod option to turn off torch breaking as that's an intended mechanic, it's meant to simulate torches burning out and needing no fuel which also saves on tps.

How long does tallow take to spoil? I always have too much meat on playthroughs where I don't freeze any food, where it'll spoil before I can do too much with it. Dumping it into pemmican is my usual go-to and I'm wondering if this would be a good second option.
