Hi there! Fan of your mods! Does it work with 1.5.2?
GamePat96® 21 Jul @ 11:52am
Thanks for the answer :)

Do you know how the complete edition differs in comparison to gold? Because you wrote that it is under gold but above silver, though it isn't in the comparison picture here as it's only on nexus, and there's no listing over there about it ether. Really like the way all the changes are listed in one picture :)

Im just curries what changes, and if i should go with it instead :)
MOONLIGHT  [author] 21 Jul @ 9:40am
yeah so before sircaa there is about 9 variations in alife, after it it ramps up and at end there are about 23 so this explains the overabundance of 1 type that will gradually calm down as more new types get added into the pool :)
GamePat96® 20 Jul @ 7:57am
I played until the "bridge" crossing into garbadge to speak to that general, but did all the testing right before that, after having done all other main missions to that point.
MOONLIGHT  [author] 19 Jul @ 3:29pm
GamePat, you are before sircaa i presume?
M4ttlock, No, currently none of my mods do and i try to keep it that way to not waste peoples time with constant new games :D
m4ttlock 18 Jul @ 3:29pm
May I ask does this require a new game? thanks
GamePat96® 18 Jul @ 12:07pm
Love this mod, the only problem i have is that dogs and rats spawn insanly often in the lesser zone. Havent tested it in other regions yet. I had one of your nexus versions before, and it didnt feel that insane😅

I wonder if this is a bug, or some change that was made because of the gold edition? I played for like 2h and had 5-6 dog armys and 3-4 rat spawns come at me. At one point there was a PseudoDog that spawned in front of me, while i was running from the dogs, trying to reload next to a sidequest😂

While it can be a lot of fun, i think there are just to many dogs and rats, and not enough Bandits or so. At least that way i could get some ammo back, that i lost because of all the dogs ;)

Idk how you or others fell about this, seems im the only one that ways too keen on it. Maybe i shoudl look into the Complete Edition, which sadly isnt in the workshop it seems. Because i dont was to lose the PseudoDog that isnt in the silver version.

mimouz, well its kinda hard to make a game when you, your freinds, family, and co-workers are being bombed
MOONLIGHT  [author] 15 Jul @ 7:24am
Oliwer, you can find that version on nexus, it is the modular one with add-ons so make sure u take a look at optional files there :)
Intimiderp, yes ofcourse, both edit same files.
Mimouz, hello fellow redditor and thank you for trying it out and enjoying it!
Mimouz 13 Jul @ 1:08pm
Your mod is a game changing

How is an AAA studio not able to do this ? Your 11kb mod is really nice, the zone feels ALIVE for real

Thank you !
Oliwer Bray 11 Jul @ 11:45pm
Can you please also add roaming Burer, Controller, Pseudogiant, and Chimera?
arghy 9 Jul @ 9:40pm
Damn! :( its funny because the better A-life is makes it so much more obvious and bad watching groups of NPC's just pop into existence. I figure the performance hit must be absurd for them to keep the 100m as it is.
MOONLIGHT  [author] 9 Jul @ 1:47pm
Arghy, there is no increase in radius atm :/
KaptaynAmeryka, No, each living zone is its own mod, the order from most frequent spawn/heaviest adjustments goes in descending order:
- Gold
- Complete
- Silver
- Modular
- Bronze
KaptaynAmeryka 7 Jul @ 1:09pm
Do I need to download the Nexus version first and then install this? I'm not sure what the correct order of operations is.
arghy 7 Jul @ 12:13pm
How much will this affect my performance? I love the concept of the increased spawn radius the most but i don't want my game to chug along. Is this save game friendly or do i need to start a new game?
MOONLIGHT  [author] 4 Jul @ 7:48am
Coin, no problem man! also remember the harder mutants that are new are also LOCKED UNTIL QUEST PROGRESS this means you won't see all in the first few hours of playing :) it will gradually expand.

sort of, a-life spawn speed mainly refers to the interval between your in render NPC spawns, think about those mutants you see moving past you in the distance when exploring open world. bronze makes them appear 35% faster up to 60% faster compared to vanilla on gold ( so more then twice as many appear in render compared to vanilla)

you don'y have to unsub. i think it overwrites and if it doesn't well the a-life enhancements mod is same files as in the gold so no problems there either :D
Coin 4 Jul @ 3:21am
Seems very dope, especially the extended mutant spawns (thanks for not putting Chimeras out at the beginning of the game).

May I ask though, what exactly is "A-Life spawn speed"? Is it like, the rate that new Stalkers are spawned when the population is down or something? Also I'm assuming I have to unsub from your AI-Life enhancements mod to get this, right?
MOONLIGHT  [author] 3 Jul @ 2:18am
Wetekatwitch, You mean an a-life mod in general? since "A-Life Uh... Found A Way" modifies same files as i do only this or that can run, it's a personal thing if u want an a-life mod or keep it vanilla right now.
The gold max npc limit is mostly in hubs and even then it does not change the performance all that much, it's like a little breathing room that allows the game to have more dynamic changing number of max npc in your render :)
Yes the nexusmod for Roaming Professions-Expanded Trade Inventory is already included in this mod to enhance the experience.
wetekatwitch 2 Jul @ 1:21pm
Hey Dear Moonlight, first i wanna thank you for this Mod but i got a question, Is a Mod like "A-Life Uh.. Found A Way" still needed? and i would like to ask can you do this "GOLD" mod with the normal Vanilla MAX NPC LIMIT, would be great. Also i like to know if Shays Nexus Mods Roming Professions and Talk Trade to Everyone is here integrated or not. Thx
MOONLIGHT  [author] 28 Jun @ 3:32am
i'm afraid this is a vanilla bug that is happening on rare occassions since release due to reputation and weird savegame stuff, does it happen really often? i can make a version for you that disables mercs, but i'm not sure how this will affect scripted events
Jäveln 28 Jun @ 1:35am
just random small spawns of like 4 mercs that goes for you and is ignored by any mutants and npc i even hid behind npc who got gunned down and no retaliation
MOONLIGHT  [author] 27 Jun @ 3:55pm
Javeln, no, is there any recurring element during gameplay when it happens?
Jäveln 27 Jun @ 3:18pm
uh so does this mod add random hostile merc spawns that gets ignored by regular npcs? had a weird occurance near cordon with 4 spawning and all npc jsut ignored them even when being shot by the mercs
MOONLIGHT  [author] 27 Jun @ 9:50am
SesameVI, i will be paying attention to any mention of burers causing gameplay problems across all platforms and if needed reduce their spawn chances in an update this weekend.

Fantasma, No i do not change loadouts of spawned npc's by script or a-life :)
Fantasma_Brasileiro 27 Jun @ 5:23am
Do new stalkers use a pistol instead of a submachine gun or shotgun?
SesameVI 27 Jun @ 5:19am
I'm really enjoying your mod, especially the roaming electric anomoly but I'm having an issue where burer spawn in, usually 2 or 3 of them. But then they just walk around, don't attack or respond to being attacked.

I also had where they spawned somewhere in the garbage area and agro'd all the npcs in the settlement meaning I couldn't interact with ricter or others. Stores were fine though. I eventually found the burer stuck on a metal pile, killed him and all the npcs went back to normal.
MOONLIGHT  [author] 26 Jun @ 3:06am
Edenxfund, same as the game advices.
This mod does not impact performance that much to validate specific specs for it. I've had testers run it on 1000 series graphics card with minimal issues, i just put a small warning just in case because well it does do things more and faster than the version under it (complete, silver).

Drunkensteinn, Unfortunately not :( i have plans to push specific distance asap when it opens up in sdk, this one will have about 350 meters for view. (same as pre 1.1 of my nexusmods)
Drunkensteinn 26 Jun @ 2:07am
What about online bubble radius? Was it increased?
edenxfund 25 Jun @ 11:09pm
what computer specs do i need to play on medium graphics settings? With this mod
MOONLIGHT  [author] 25 Jun @ 4:47pm
Pizzoots:
My a-life mods go in following descending order from most heaviest and adjusted to least:
- Living Zone: Gold
- Living Zone: Complete
- Living Zone: Silver
- Living Zone: Modular
- Living Zone: Bronze

The difference between complete and gold here is that:
1. gold is steam only and is therefore steam workshop compatible
2. it is a slightly faster (spawn times) version than the main file of complete
3. it has some different chances and "logic" compared to complete so that i dont do too much to the natural formula of the complete mod that people are used to for past few months. (hence the smaller complete update on nexusmods)
4. its a slightly different version to fit in the list of available variations so now you have more options
Pizzoots 25 Jun @ 4:30pm
whats the difference between this and Living Zone Complete on nexus?
MOONLIGHT  [author] 25 Jun @ 4:08pm
Jako, jup they do :) all of the workshop mods do
Jako 25 Jun @ 3:50pm
Do these mods work with 1.5? I'd assume so, given the release of workshop along with it?
