Mod author from Research Data responded, but he's focused on implementing mod options (which would fix the spot refuelling eventually).

He recommended a XML edit if you want to make it all work better.

I put a patch request into Research Papers. I agree a "desk" is not fitting with tribal/neo colonies

To adapt to the current system in the interim, build the sample desk and create the samples and the research papers. The research spot will work

Hi Legionnaire,

Mods are always cycling in and out, and there is a fair warning on the description for this. In this case, [WYD] Primitive Research was dropped for RR-SS, a more comprehensive mod.

Maybe I got it wrong, I'll look into the Research Paper issue

For now - you can swap RR-SS with [WYD] Primitive Research to get the original setup back.

Why was the research system changed? Please revert it to the previous version. I started in medieval conditions and even the simplest item like a Sleeping Spot is missing from the furniture list. When I place a Researching Spot, it requires "Research Papers"...

Hi @moo,

Ive noticed there are packs of travelling colonists, both hostile and friendly constantly walking through my map. This is resulting in most of my map being unsafe like 90% of the time. I wasnt sure if this was the effect of a mod or a 1.6 change.

I've checked through the modlist and cant see any specifically that increase the travelers rate. I like the travellers, just want to turn down the frequency.

Any help would be great

This is symptomatic of not having your rimworld install using the unstable beta. Basically you appear to be on 1.5, using a 1.6 modpack

Downloaded the modpack, launched the game and created a new save, but my paws don't want to do anything, they just roam around and eat. I haven't played the game in a while but couldn't figure what is happening, also no option to force them to do a task whenever I right click a structure. Any idea of what may be happening?

Hi moo, I hope you're doing well. I haven't been able to get the Orbital Trade system to work in the game. Even though I’ve set up the console and the beacon, the orbital traders just won’t show up. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks.

That's the Progression: Agriculture mod
You need to open the seedpacks that most scenarios have added to them, and collect more during your time on the Rim (there are traders with them)

Just got into this collection, but noticed that there are no crops when i create a new grow zone. Is this a bug or one of the mod functionalities? Would be really helpful as its kinda of gamebreaking not being able to grow food.

To edit the travelling group pawn count - edit Silk Road settings
To edit the Faction raids (the bigger raids that are against each other) - edit [SR]Raid Extension

Unfortunately we are still waiting on a no-pinata mod like https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1778821244 to update to 1.6

Pawns constantly entering and leaving the map along with the fights they keep starting are leaving junk all over the place — and it's causing serious lag.

We've learned some stuff. For anyone having trouble, ensure:
- You are using 1.6 unstable, and not a 1.5 build. You are on 1.5 if you find that pawns are not moving.
- Use RimPy to sort the modlist. RimSort is having problems . If you see radius related errors in the top of your log, your modlist is NOT sorted correctly.

This modpack is updated very frequently, so you could of caught a bad update as well. Sometimes a full unsub/resub could be due.

Oh weird, I am running in dev mode to test the pack. Sometimes some mods won't update until they are forced, which might be the first step for you

When the game speed is above 1x and I move the camera using W-A-S-D, the speed drops back to 1x. Is there a setting to disable this behavior? Thanks.
