You should be able to. Make a backup copy of your save just to be safe, I can't 100% guarantee it.
can i replace original mod with yours mid save?

Zaljerem  [author] 7 hours ago
Yes.
Turu 8 hours ago
Compatible with Hospitality: Spa?
Zaljerem  [author] 9 hours ago
Usually, yes. But in this case, no. Orion is still retiring ... this is the version to use moving forward.
Zyrean 9 hours ago
@kurikinton
Offical one of course.
Zaljerem  [author] 12 Jul @ 5:14pm
This one. It is actively supported.
kurikinton 12 Jul @ 5:13pm
So both Hospitality and Hospitality (Continued) have been updated to 1.6. Which should I be using?
rausmaus 12 Jul @ 11:04am
I was not aware Hospitality was being taken up. Thanks for all you do! I look forward for Odyssey compatibility but even just having it available for 1.6 as it is so far is great.
Zaljerem  [author] 11 Jul @ 7:27pm
So, if you leave a map in your gravship with no anchor, any guests will obviously be destroyed.

If you herd them on the gravship, and leave the map, some errors will be thrown, and when you land they will revert from guest status and attempt to leave the map.

Regarding space - incidents have to be whitelisted to occur in the space biome, so I don't believe you will receive any guests in space. Obviously the "space hotel" concept is what everyone wants to see (myself included), so I'll be working on it.

Wonder how odyssey works with hospitality, would love to set up an asteroid hotel without pawns loading into the map suffocating cause they don’t have a suit :beeped:
Zaljerem  [author] 11 Jul @ 7:21pm
You should be able to use your translation module with this version as well.

Otherwise, I have a collection here:

I'm not sure which version of the module I should download.
zhiyue2005 11 Jul @ 7:18pm
Thank you, but many modules of the original author use your module as the prefix, but the prefix of the translation module still shows the original module, and the original module has been updated with version 1.6, which makes me a little confused.

Wanted to say thanks for continuing work on this mod. Do you plan on continuing multiplayer compatibility?
Sherrif 11 Jul @ 9:29am
Orion only disabled comments, which screws over the community's ability to redirect here or prove that this mod that is, in fact, a needed replacement. Remember kids, disabled comments on a mod is only done to actively harm the modding community.
Khorne Flakes 11 Jul @ 8:59am
Thanks for so quickly updating to 1.6!
Zaljerem  [author] 11 Jul @ 7:21am
Orion is still retiring. The point of this mod is to bug-fix, improve, and keep Hospitality alive into the future. If you want to use the original, fine, but he's not taking comments and I doubt you'll see any further updates there. I've already made a bunch of fixes, and I'm working on Odyssey compatibility ... people are already talking about how they want space hotels or whatever.
Bitbyte 11 Jul @ 7:17am
Original appears to be updated to 1.6. What's the point of this mod?
Zaljerem  [author] 10 Jul @ 9:23am
Lol, why isn't the Insect faction permanentEnemy? Very strange. Thanks for the report, I'll look into clearing that warning. Should be ok to ignore; let me know if you see additional weirdness.
Kupferbart 10 Jul @ 8:37am
Hey there, enabling both your mod and Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids 2 yields a warning (missing pawnGroupMaker).

If there's any other info you need to resolve the issue, just shoot me a message.

Thanks for all the work you put into the mod!
Rooster Cogburn 9 Jul @ 8:21pm
Thank you so much for keeping this mod going! I love having visitors to enjoy my base and give it some added life. I'm wondering if there is a way to disable faction goodwill change when guests leave? It is a lot of free goodwill and there seems to be no way to opt out.
Deggial 9 Jul @ 8:18am
Indeed "Thank you!" for all your answers and the continued support, Zaljerem.
The decision is quite eays then, I guess ... ;)

Hospitality (Continued) it is!
Wednesday 9 Jul @ 5:23am
As per orion's GitHub, he's not actively maintaining it anymore, he stated several times he retired from modding RimWorld in Git and Patreon, he's just reviewing and accepting pull requests, he must have accepted the pull request to 1.6 that was there for some time.

I just came here to check your stance on this too, glad you'll keep supporting it, I'll keep this version that is actively maintained, and that I'll be able to report bugs, thanks for your work @Zaljerem o/
Zaljerem  [author] 9 Jul @ 4:04am
Use what you want, but Orion isn't actively modding. I assume that was one last update for the road. I have fixed some long-standing bugs and I intend to keep supporting this version.
Endevouz 9 Jul @ 3:54am
Primeira vez que vejo uma versão "continued" ser lançada depois do original
Drunken Eagle 9 Jul @ 3:37am
..uh, Ill stick to this one, I doubt original version will be updated to work with dlc features.
Proxyer 9 Jul @ 3:28am
@Deggial
Where I compared, The difference between Hospitality and Hospitality (Continued) is that a mistake in the German translation (Keyed "GuestTookFreeItem") has been fixed in Continued, but remains incorrect in Hospitality, which has been updated to 1.6.
Deggial 9 Jul @ 2:55am
Hi Zaljerem,
apparently, Orion has updated the original mod to version 1.6.
I usually prefer the original version to the 'continued' one (*thank you* for picking up the mod in the meantime, though!).

That being said, I would prefer the original version *unless* you have added new optimisations that were not featured by the original author.
Have you?
PolterGijs 7 Jul @ 1:06pm
I am not, double checked but i am not subscribed to the original one!
Zaljerem  [author] 7 Jul @ 12:32pm
Are you still subscribed to the 1.5 version?
PolterGijs 7 Jul @ 12:29pm
For me the 'mods' section ingame also says the mod isn't the right version, I don't use a mod manager like Rimpy. It says the mod version is 1.0.1, while the game version is 1.6
Zaljerem  [author] 7 Jul @ 8:14am
As I use the same modId as the 1.5 version for compatibility reasons, I'm sure it's giving it fits. I think you can set a manual rule in RimSort? Or maybe report it to them to fix their entry?
djrusson 7 Jul @ 8:10am
Zaljerem - I have just used Rimsort and have the same red warning message as with Rimpy , namely "mod and game version mismatch.
Zaljerem  [author] 7 Jul @ 3:52am
RimPy is abandoned and I can't do anything about their database. If you must use a manager I recommend Rimsort.
Psychosis 7 Jul @ 2:26am
I as well get the same problem with Rimpy Mod Manager with it popping up red atm. Is it possible we can get a possible update for this? This is one of favourite mods and I appreciate greatly if this is possible, any thanks for carrying the torch dude
djrusson 7 Jul @ 1:55am
I use Rimpy Mod Manager to load , sort and run Rimworld with mods. With Hospitality (continued ) v1.6 installed at the end of the mod list i get this mod highlighted in red with the warning "mod and game version mismatch"
VelxraTV 3 Jul @ 7:21pm
thanks for clarify, building up my 1.6 list and seeing what still works on 1.5 until then.
Zaljerem  [author] 3 Jul @ 6:51pm
Please use the original mod for 1.5. I will not be supporting earlier versions or back-porting any fixes. Thanks.
VelxraTV 3 Jul @ 6:50pm
does this still work in 1.5?
MercuryRiver 3 Jul @ 12:43pm
You're so cool, such a nice description, great compatibility notes, thank you
Zaljerem  [author] 3 Jul @ 7:49am
I have updated and categorized the compatibility info in the description. If anyone runs into anything, sing out. I will try to test some of the immediate testing ones when I get a moment.
Papito 3 Jul @ 1:00am
Thanks for being amazing.
LZIM 2 Jul @ 5:17pm
@Hammer Goblin

true and fair but for some of us with unstable mod lists... our playthroughs can break at any time so being tied to one might not be the best thing when as you say 1.6 is on the horizon and will in some cases kill support for some mods. with 1.5 some mods just broke immediately. And some new mods were 1.5 only.

also there's taking up 1.6 in unstable beta so you're already familiar with it by the time official support starts rolling in from the majority of mods. and odyssey (save our ship and SRTS and rimnauts) kinda feels like one of those DLCs that just makes sense if there are new worlds worth visiting, settling.
FireSloth 2 Jul @ 4:39pm
Zaljerem, a hearty thank you from me for doing this!!! I'm just a huge fan of Hospitality and any business tycoonish stuff.
Hammer Goblin 2 Jul @ 2:01pm
Well crud, now I know who to poke when 1.6 rocks up then.
Zaljerem  [author] 2 Jul @ 1:57pm
As a general rule, I move to the latest unstable the minute it is available; gotta keep moving forward. I also forked these mods for personal use during 1.5 as I had a bad feeling Orion would be retiring - and he has, so the original will not be updated to 1.6. That gave me a bit of a leg-up in testing, fixing bugs, and getting it ready for 1.6.
Hammer Goblin 2 Jul @ 1:55pm
***P.S I am 1000% ignorant to the modding community dynamic here, I just think most folk just release their 1.6 when the game updates.
